Great gaming laptop for the price. Good battery life, very fast and a decent display!

The screen is very color accurate but very bad at gaming. It looks terrible in motion. I would honestly not recommend unless you're playing very casual games. The software is alright, bloated but cool. The rest of the laptop is great. Truly a great machine. Portable, great speakers, great performance. Loud though.

Purchased open box and on sale so got an amazing deal at about 50% off. Works well and plays the games I bought it for perfectly. Battery life while gaming is less then ideal (lasts 1-2 hours max) and laptop gets extremely hot, had to get a cooler. Very light and portable and live the whote color. Keyboard does a weird flashing thing when computer is sleeping put not closed.

Best laptop for all uses. I use it for school, work, gaming, coding, programming, music, YouTube, EVERYTHING. Runs all games smooth as butter.

Great value. You pay for what you get and with the clearance price of 900 its a pretty good deal. Averaged 6-8 hours battery life doing light work. Playing a game on battery life got me about an hour-hour and half play time, I do wish that part was longer. But considering I'm getting 144fps on high settings on most games I wont complain.

Paid $850 for this laptop a couple years ago, have used it every day since. Still lightning fast, easy to use, gets my work done and some light gaming. Probably could handle most games but I have a desktop I use for any heavy workloads.

Amazing laptop, good performance, comfortable keyboard, good screen quality, 9.5/10. What makes me not rate it a 10 is because it heats a lot, like a lot, in a point where you almost can’t touch it with your fingers. I have a small platform with fans so it helped a little bit to minimize that. Other than that, highly recommend.

Within ASUS's Armoury Crate, you are given options to use your CPU in "Eco" Mode which will only use the integrated graphics inside of your 5800HS. "Standard" mode activates the discrete GPU. And "Hybrid" mode changes it to use both depending on the application. I am beyond impressed with the amount of battery life i get out of this thing, great and solid design choices too

Good price for its capability and operations. Runs a little hotter than I would prefer, but a capable machine at its price. I recommend connecting it to a second monitor.

Excelent laptop, you can play any game, Play music with your favorite DAW, browse the Internet fluently without problems, the battery lasts a long time, it is easy to transport due to its size, 200% recommended.

This laptop is the perfect package in a small frame!! I barely used it for gaming but works really well for all kinds of coding, editing, and streaming software! Definitely should buy this if you want the power without getting a large laptop!

I origianlly bought this laptop after not ever having a gaming laptop. I have always had a desktop pc for gaming but I wanted to have something mobile and found this Zephyrus G14 open box deal at a great price so I thought I would go for it. The Ryzen 7 was a great cpu and did everything I needed and was great paired with the 3060 mobile gpu. The 16 gigs of ram was plenty for games I play, mostly COD and Apex. The only downside I found was the 14 inch screen. Its no fault of the laptop it just wasn't big enough for my old eyes. Speaking of the screen it was great. The image was sharp and bright and the 144Hz was great. I ended up returning the laptop and went with a G15 which was much better for me. If you are comfortable with a 14" gaming laptop I would highly suggest the G14

I bought this laptop for school and personal use that involves video/ photo editing. It’s pretty quick and lightweight also dig the low-profile look. It can run games apparently, but I have yet to try gaming on it. Overall a very solid laptop!

I’ve had this laptop for just about a year now and it performs beautifully. Every game I’ve played so far has run excellent. Tend to play open world survival games some of which can be fairly graphics intensive and the only one I’ve had issues with is ark survival ascended but there are people with far better specs than mine that still have trouble. One thing I would recommend investing in would be a laptop fan to cool it down as it gets hot fast, but that’s to be expected with a powerful gaming laptop. Definitely would recommend this laptop, especially now that it’s selling for far less than when I bought it ( I’m a little sad about that part but it is what it is)

It's a great laptop--no doubt. If you want a smaller laptop to game on, this is super capable. For me though, loud fans, heat, and battery life led me to return. I need thin, light, long life. Fantastic as a gaming laptop though!

So far this laptop has been able to tackle all the challenges I need from it. I mainly got it due to needed the Expansive Ram and the Storage. To also have the ability to complete work and play games at such a wonderful size was the best part overall.

It is a very comfortable computer, easy to carry, it heats up a little but in general with a coolant you are fine, excellent for playing at high speed

Love this laptop. It is light and portable. Battery life is great. Better than other gaming laptops i have used. Screen is a bit small but that doesn't bother me but if you want a bigger screen. I would suggest getting the 15inch

Unlike the Dell I purchased along with this Asus, the Asus flat out works great! The keycaps have not lost their ID markers, the touchpad works flawlessly and overall this is the finest laptop I have owned from Best Buy to date! Highly recommended? YES!!!! It is fast, runs cool, runs quiet and does everything I need without fault! And id I mention that the alphanumeric markings on the keyboard are still there? Unlike my new Dell reviewed elsewhere they are! And the touchpad works! My Dell doesn't work with any degree of consistency but this ASUS is, again, FLAWLESS! I have zero problems and zero regrets with this excellent, quality built laptop! Thank you Best Buy and ASUS!

Great laptop! It has exceeded my expectations in gaming performance, even with the 14in screen. I thought the screen size might be the only disappointment here but the screen's performance and smoothness doesn't leave me ever thinking about its size. To find any faults with this laptop, all I can come up with is the heating. But it isn't a fault at all considering the form factor and the hardware packed inside. It does get hot as does the power supply. However not once did it show any signs of overheating in any of my gameplay. The only thing I did was, purchase a cooling mat for it. One, I like the adjustable angles the one I purchased allows and two it definitely reduces system temperature enough to make the purchase make sense. Overall, if you can get this system below $1k on sale like I did, it is one of the best laptops you will find at the price point!
