    Beast of a laptop!!!

The Asus Zephyrus G14 120hz is by far the best laptop I ever purchased. It's sleek design paired along with a AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS and a RX6700S GPU makes it a beast of a laptop. I was fortunate to pick this open box on sale for $985.99, which was a steal! To start off, the build quality. Asus developers really took their time with this year's model. It doesn't feel cheaply made. Display screen, its a QHD display that measures at 16x10 aspect ratio, super fast refresh rate at 120hz, quick response time at only 3ms, super bright and nice color accuracy. This year model even has a built in 720p camera. Really like the keyboard with rgb lighting and track pad, it's super smooth and the click is quick and responsive. In terms of battery life, I'm getting about 10 hour of run time on eco mode which is pretty good. The speakers on this laptop are amazing, supports dobly atmos. It has 2 micro usb c ports, 2 usb 2.0, 1 HDMI port, 1 TB of nvme storage and 16gb of ddr5 4800mhz ram. I upgraded mines to a 2 TB and 32gb ram. As for those experiencing heating issues with the CPU and GPU reaching the high 90s. I didn't have any issues with mines. It's running at about 32° on idle and didn't exceed 70°C while gaming. This was tweak using the Registry Editor. This will uncover a hidden power option. After that, go back in the Power Plan Options and a new tab "Processor Performance Boost Mode" will appear. Set it to Disable and click Apply. Also, make sure your max processor state is at 100%. The CPU will now run on the stock frequency. For a general idea about the performance compared to 99% max state, average fps went up to about 5-15 with the temperatures still maxing out at the same at 65-70°C!! The FPS loss from 99% disabled has been recovered while maintaining the benefit! All games set on high to ultra high settings and still max out the frames at 120fps on some AAA games!

Literally the best laptop I've ever owned. I use it even more than my desktop with a 3080 cause it's just so nice to use. Keep it on the Windows profile and you're set. Amazing battery life, screen, keyboard, etc. Also very thin, light, and compact. Does get hot though. 10/10 would recommend to my mom's dog.

It is a really nice laptop, it is quite fast with great specs. It is a very quiet laptop, especially in silent mode. The only reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars is simply because it sometimes lags and randomly black screens from windows updates (although that might just be windows 11). Overall, it is a really good laptop, which can run heavy programs and is lightweight.

After having this laptop for a couple of weeks now, I can safely say that this is one of the coolest laptops ever. The performance is perhaps the best feature of this. Despite being a smaller scale laptop, it runs most games and programs very, very well. I also really love the design and overall look of it. Perfect for someone who's wanting to take it to other places. It's just a very aesthetically pleasing laptop. My only critique is that it gets quite hot when running games. Even so, there are many guides on the internet that can help lessen this. It truly is, a very awesome laptop! I love it so far.

High thermals, but no throttling on either CPU or GPU as of yet. For non-gaming use its as good as it gets. Long battery life, though concerning is the battery deg that reads at 91% after just a week of usage. Solid build quality, and can run silently if needed. Aesthetically pleasing and not too loudly "gamer" for professional usage.

Forget the razer blade 14 and look to this G14 instead. It has all the great features of its big brothers the G15 and M16 but in a compact amazing form factor and color options. If you have been reading reviews you already know the deal with these machines. They are almost always on sale and an amazing value for the money. If you can get past the Radeon graphics and not being nvidia then dive in. If you cant then wait for the 2023 models to drop very soon which are Ryzen cpu with Nvidia GPU. These run hot when under full load but they wont die from heat as after almost a year now ive take the heat sink off to repaste and see no signs of such even though ive been using it daily at 95c lol. So i guess its up to the task. Best display youll find until the new MINI led models come out. And of course Ryzen CPU = battery life for days.

This laptop is good for gaming and also for working. The weight is light for gaming laptop, the battery is OK, can stand more than 5 hours for streaming and browsing internet. The fan is loud when playing game like FORZA HORISON 5. But it was OK for me, but for video editing is quite difficult because the screen is small only 14 inch.

Overall an amazing machine, i have used this for over a month now, haven't played any heavy games yet but for casual use it is amazing, while in eco mode with silent power mode it can easily last 7 hours, i use this for school and gaming and it has proven itself very good in both departments, i get good fps on games and while browsing it feels very fast. I just have one problem and its that recently i have noticed that the CPU and gpu when in standard mode have higher temps, usually around 60 degrees on both other then that it is working very well

After months of researching my options, I finally replaced my old gaming laptop that bit the dust. I was incredibly excited to pick up this version of the G14 on sale! The specs are really great for the price, my partner recommended the ROG line as he's had one for years, and all of the professional reviews had great things to say. Unfortunately, you're gambling with whether or not you get a unit with issues. This *should* be an incredible value for what you get, especially on sale. If you get a unit without any issues, it really is a lovely device. However, the quality control is... disappointing. My two-star rating is primarily due to now being on my second unit with some kind of issue. The first unit I picked up was amazing for the first few days. Then the cooling system began making an obnoxious buzzing noise that I could not figure out how to get to go away, nor would the cooling system shut off when the laptop was put into sleep mode. This caused the device to run very hot and drained the battery at a rate of 10-15% per hour despite being in sleep mode. After a few days of trying to get the buzzing to go away, I gave up and exchanged my first unit. I hoped my second unit would fare better. The second unit has thankfully had not had any functionality issues crop up in the few days I've had it. I'm grateful for that! However, I was immediately disappointed to find upon opening the box that the soft-touch paint on the top of the unit was damaged or partially wiped off during production. There's a weird shiny scuff shown in the attached pictures where there isn't any of the matte, textured layer of soft-touch paint. There was also some kind of greasy black/grey residue on the keyboard, though I was able to remove that without issue. While the problems with my second unit are aesthetic, I'm still frustrated with the apparent lack of quality control. The vapor cooling system buzzing and never shutting off in sleep mode I could attribute to a fluke. But with the second unit, someone looked at the lid that wasn't painted correctly and thought, "This is fine!" I purchased both units new, not open box. You'd think a new laptop would function and be painted properly when paying this much. Unfortunately, Asus did not manage to deliver on that. Complaints about quality control aside, the overall functionality of the laptop been good so far. I don't usually play AAA games, so the Radeon RX 6700S has been more than sufficient for my needs. I can game and use the device for video editing without issue. Do be warned that the keyboard can get very hot at times under graphics-heavy use. I recommend getting a cooling mat of some variety for home use. I really appreciate how portable it is at under 4lbs. As long as you can sort out the wonky mismatches between some of the ASUS and Windows power settings, the battery life is impressive. I really want to love this laptop, but that's made difficult by back-to-back QC issues. The G14 would be at a four- or five-star laptop if ASUS could get their act together on quality control. As it stands, beware of issues when you pick up this device and expect for something to be wrong with it.

Small and lightweight, perfect for on the go and travel. I don't miss any of my playtime on some games with friends when I'm traveling. Fantastic screen. I would recommend to format the SSD and start Windows with no bloat. Install steam and any programs you use. Get a small controller and play on the go with it.

I absolutely love my Asus ROG Zephyrus G14. It looks absolutely amazing. It’s incredibly thin for a gaming laptop and the white color looks immaculate. The gaming is delightful especially on this beautiful screen. The fans do get loud, but that’s to be expected. My only other complaint is the placement of the charging port in the middle of the left side. Why? Otherwise I am very happy with this laptop.

This machine is my wife's and she games with it. It's light (portable) and has pretty nice battery life for a gaming machine. She plays Baldur's Gate 3 on it when she's not scouring Youtube and other blogs. It charges from the PD port as well as the beefy power supply (which you need for gaming hardcore).

My boys love these computers! They are small & lightweight, yet they handle all their gaming needs. We’ve been using these laptops for 4 months now with no issues at all. I’ve ordered user-installable memory upgrades, so next week they’ll have 24gb of RAM (instead of the original 16gb).

I love my computer! I make flyers, graphics and presentation slides. It handles it all very well. I also make videos and reels. My only complaint Which is a big one! Is that the WiFi chip went out on me within months. If I didn’t have a husband who built computers I would have counted the laptop as a loss. Luckily I could buy one on Amazon for 15. I feel like this needs to be addressed considering not everyone is blessed with a husband like me lol
