$1,500 laptop survived less than 2 years with light use. Specs were fine and laptop seemed to work great when it did. One real issue was how uncomfortably hot it got, even when doing something as mundane as watching youtube. However, I cannot forgive Asus for putting a product to market that survived less than 2 years with light use. Just before the 2 year mark, my laptop would not turn on. Sent it in for RMA, and was quoted $917 to repair the mainboard. Asus wanted $1,000 to repair a $1,500 laptop. For shame. I used to swear by Asus. They've lost a customer. I won't even countenance their desktop mainboards, anymore.

Very good Laptop; I use it as my main gaming system and have never had an issue running any game I’ve purchased. It gets very hot but I usual have it docked with an external keyboard and monitor so It doesn’t bother me. Screen is very good, better than most monitors I pair it with, and the asus armory crate is one of the better PC control software.

This laptop is stunning. Works great and is more powerful than most laptops in a similar price range.

I bought this “Opened box” so the price went down from brandnew $1600 to $900. It was such a bargain. The only downside was that it has a single dead pixel, it’s not noticeable and does not affect performance or quality of use. Now its already been a year and it is still a gem of a device.

It’s a good laptop over all but I recommend a stand for better air flow because it does get really hot fast.

It runs very well amd i can edit greatly on this laptop, i also can run Triple A games. Its definitely worth over $1000. Just make sure to have a cool room and good air flow.

Great bang for buck. Great performance in a small body. Got it on the 999 sale too.

Great laptop although it runs pretty hot but it’s a great all arounder laptop for games and school work maybe a little bit of editing I get a constant 220 fps on rocket league

The Best Gamer Laptop at The Right Size for me. With 500 Nits Brightness and and Colors are Rich, Deep and Brilliant on this Beast Gamer not to mention the great dark contrast of the screen as well. Asus has put together the perfect package for all-out performance, and incredible graphics pushing all my games to the limit and still running pretty cool. I love this laptop and the Asus support is top-notch in care and response time.

It’s fast, it’s powerful, and I can’t beat it for the price. I needed an small mobile machine to play Fortnite with my son and grandson. This one does a great job! While it hasn’t improved my skills, it definitely has upped my game. It definitely runs hot and needs to be connected to power if you are playing. Battery life seems good with simple internet searching and email.

I got a Asus Zephyrus G14 2022 from BestBuy for a very reasonable price. They delivered it to my place too. Fast and reliable service. with warrenty. I Recommend this product to everyone who is looking for a gaming laptop.R9 processor is very very powerful and 8gb Amd Rx Gpu can run all new games in ultra setting very smoothly. THANKS,

I am now 6 for 6 when it comes to ASUS laptops bought and returned due to quality control issues. This is the last one I ever plan on purchasing. I've returned two 2021 G14s due to display and speaker issues, a 2021 G15 due to display issues, and a 2021 M16 due to display and fan issues. This 2022 G14 was purchased and returned due to display issues as well. I'm going to start with the good though. The trackpad is large and smooth. It was a joy to use. The keyboard is fine and I don't really have any complaints about the speakers. That's about it. As for the bad, my first issue was four blue screen crashes after I finished setting up Windows and logging in. Once those crashes stopped everything seemed to work ok. I did Windows 11 updates and proceeded to browse Best Buy and Amazon websites. I wanted to move to the couch so I unplugged the laptop and the screen went black and would not come back on. It seemed that when the laptop was booted up while plugged in as soon as it was unplugged and switched to battery the screen went dead. If I plugged in back in it was still black. So after force shutdowns and restarts I tested it out booting up on battery. As soon as I plugged it in the screen went black. It was the exact opposite. Either I could use the machine on battery OR while plugged in. That's it. I eventually solved this problem by disabling a feature that's supposed to switch the display from 120Hz to 60Hz automatically when you switch to battery. So, now I'd have to manually do it each time to save battery life. Once that problem was solved I decided to check out Armory Crate to customize the keyboard lighting. While it's much better than the 2021 model (white deck instead of silver), the colors barely show on the keys themselves since most of the light shines up from around the keys. Again, it's difficult to read with them on, but whatever. Armory Crate said there were updates and constantly gave me a black screen whenever I tried to install them. After two hours of restarts and attempts, they finally installed. After all that frustration I went to bed. The next day I tried turning the laptop on and was greeted with distorted display images as shown in my pictures. So, it was back to force shutdowns and restarts, with each boot up having totally screwed up images. Eventually it was ok enough to go through the PC Reset option to wipe this thing to return it. I know not everyone has this experience, but as I said I'm now 6 for 6 with my disappointment with ASUS and it's probably just really REALLY bad luck.. Instead of buying another ASUS I'm buying a lotto ticket.

I really like the lights on the keyboard and it's super fast

After paying over $1,700 for this Asus ASUS - ROG Zephyrus 14” WQXGA 120Hz Gaming Laptop –AMD Ryzen 9– 16GB DDR5 Memory – AMD Radeon RX 6700S – 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD in White at Best Buy, within a few days it started running very loud, getting extremely hot and eventually the screen turned blue. I brought it back to Best Buy and they exchanged it. Within a week the second New ASUS laptop started to get loud and overheat again. I took it back to Best Buy and they kept it for a few days and said the issue has been resolved. Since then the laptop worked great for a while, then it would intermittently get loud, run hot and the screen turn blue, but after it a few hours and restarting, it would start working again. Recently, it started getting really loud and extremely hot as the first one did but before I had a chance to take it to Best Buy the screen went blank and would not come back on. I brought the laptop back to Best Buy but they are now telling me there's nothing they can do for me. Best Buy have the history of the problems I’ve had with this ASUS laptop since day one. As a disabled mother of three I had to sacrifice to purchase this laptop. I would not have purchased an Asus laptop for over $1,700 for less than a year and a half of use. From what Best Buy is now saying, I am now out of my $1,700 and a laptop. Isn't there any customer loyalty anymore? ASUS please help one of your customers, who not only believed in your product but sacrificed and spent over $1,700 on it.

Hands down, the best gaming laptop in this price range by a fairly long shot. The size & weight ensures it isnt a burden to bring around wherever I go, performed like my high end desktop, battery holds the better part of a day when using for casual means / business work, and looks amazing.

Wonderful little laptop! Fixed every single issue I had with last year’s G15. The screen gets super bright and I have no issue seeing it in my bright office, the fan noise under load is very minimal and fans remain off with basic web browsing, the 16:10 aspect ratio is fantastic for productivity and makes the screen close enough in size to the 15” version, and it’s super light and portable. I was worried after going through 3 different G15’s with issues that I would have to return this a few times to get a good unit, however I am happy to say this one arrived in perfect condition with no dead pixels, great color uniformity and minimal backlight bleed on the first shot. I use this laptop for game development in Unreal Engine 4 and it runs the engine, editor, browser and more without breaking a sweat or making very much noise. Build times are very fast! I haven’t done any extended gaming on this but it was able to run Elden Ring at a locked 60fps on high settings at 1440p after enabling the MUX switch (~58fps with MUX switch off). The only bummer is how expensive the DDR5 RAM is to upgrade right now (almost $300 for a single 32GB stick!) but I expect that to be less of an issue as time goes on as DDR5 has just entered the market. I saw another review mention the touchpad drivers having some issues and I had some precision issues too until I updated the BIOS through the MyASUS app. Since that I have had no issues with any of the hardware or drivers; the touchpad works like a charm. Overall very satisfied with this laptop and can’t wait to use it more!

I'm not an expert on laptops, but I love this Rog Zephyrus G14. It has excellent graphics and runs quietly smooth. The design is beautiful with white moonlight color. I would recommend buying this laptop for using photoshops, editing videos, and playing video games.

I’ve had this laptop since April 2023, and it’s always run hot. I got a cooling stand for it, but over time it’s gotten hotter and hotter. I finally decided to have the thermal paste replaced, and was horrified by what we found. There are scorch marks on both the GPU and CPU, which were not properly covered with the silvery paste that was used. The CPU had essentially no paste coverage, with only a little around the outside. The tech doing the work is outraged and says I should sue :-) . Seriously, this machine deserved better, and I also deserved better. This has pretty much destroyed my trust in the Asus brand. The laptop reboots constantly when on battery, so I cannot comment on battery life.
