it was really good, the power was for sure there and i could run any game flawlessly no doubt

People say it over heats, bit it works wonder for the discounted price. My biggest gripe is that armory crate is trash, G loader carries it. While this is a pretty good buy when its on sale, it could still have a better software and presets.

This laptop is easily hyped up as one of the best laptops of 2021. If not THE best gaming laptop of the year. It has one of the better looks to it compared to the competition. However, I just don't agree with price point. For $2200 + Tax, you're getting: an 80w RTX 3080 and only 16GB of RAM (one of which is soldered on). The rest of the specs are solid. The 5900HS will handle anything you could possibly throw at it work wise. The battery life is among the best in its class. With some reports of up to 10 hours on a single charge. Not to mention it's whisper quiet on the "Silent" power mode. The build quality is.. iffy. I've got some screen flex on mine. Coupled with a high pitched sound that comes from the fans maxed out. This isn't exactly normal. I've compared this to a Lenovo laptop, and while they both get loud? The Zephyrus is the only one that sounds like it's trying to silently scream at me. This is actually the second one I've owned due to some QC issues. Only to find out, they're seemingly normal. Is it worth it, though? When in some instances I can pay around the same price and get some heavy hitters. With a more powerful 3080, or even a comparable 3070 for less. In some cases, you can get twice the memory or storage. I honestly do not think the battery life justifies the price point. Even when comparing it to.. Let's say.. Apple. For a gaming laptop? I would 100% recommend people look at another product, or even consider the step down model with the 3070. If battery life really is your thing, and you love the way this looks? Wait for a sale.

Fast machine with nice display and overall good aesthetics. The speed of the machine is nice and as good as most any machine.

Great overall! Gets a little hot and the fans are also a little noisy but it is not a deal breaker. Runs all my games amazingly!

Plays all my game titles in high and ultra with no issue. Fans work great to keep cool there not to loud. Have to keep plugged in for max performance. Runs in moderate settings when on battery but only get about an hr and a half of gaming

Top tier spec gaming laptop. Best CPU and GPU you can find in the market. Good high-refresh rate screen. Reasonable weight and thickness for such spec

This thin sleek design packs some real power! I recommend propping this laptop on a cooling pad to aid in airflow and cooling. It does get a bit loud under a heavy load but not as bad as some laptops I’ve previously had. Seems easy and user friendly so far and I’ve thrown some AAA gaming titles at it and seem to find the sweet spot on high settings (Not Max) for best performance balance and cooling.

Solid gaming laptop but ended up using my pc with a 2070 more.

I haven't had a real huge issue with it. They only thing i can say is that the battery does die a little faster then more.

This hands down is a great buy yes it is not perfect but it is still worth its 2200 dollar price the quality is superior and excellent and the screen is beautiful and the cooling is great for this being a 3080 also my model has 0 screen billed or dead pixels as of November 16 2021 I would highly recommend good job asus

Overall very good as others will mention. Main problem is Keyboard does not have media controls or a PRNTSCRN. Otherwise keyboard types well, nice travel, feels pretty good. Also, no webcam, not a big issue for me(somewhat of a pro) but might be a problem for others.

You often see that it has a similar price to this product, but their configuration is not as good as his, but I objectively say that this product has good performance, but it is better to buy a new one. In addition, this product has a big defect that its screen When you open it, it will block the heat dissipation vent and cause heat dissipation. When the wind blows to the plate below the screen, its heat dissipation will decrease. If your home environment is relatively hot, it is not recommended to buy it.

Really great laptop. Amazing build quality and great battery life. Very sleek and light for a gaming machine making it ideal for everyday use both away from home and at home. Powerful CPU, but the GPU is where ASUS made a mistake. The 3080 in this machine only gets 80 watts of power, meaning it performs around where a 3070 or 3060 should perform, and you can't up the amount of wattage it takes through their software like you can in other gaming laptops. I'd recommend getting the 3070 version of this instead, as the 3080 in this laptop is nerfed beyond comprehension and not worth the extra money

Great Buy!, great price great power, I got this with a cybermonday discount. I was between this or the Razor, the razor was more expensive and an older model (2020) PROS: - Big Screen , big enought for a normal person with normal needs on a portable laptop. - Excellent Performance, I threw a couple heavy duty activities and all went according to specifications. - Sturdy build - Sound on te top sides of keyboard, much better than other laptops that put them on other places, and usually get bad cuality. - Win 11 ready, I didnt install it just yet, waiting for MS to fix the AMD processors issues. - Microphone - The overall weight is acceptable for the power inside CONS: - You need to be a mid level knowledge PC user. - You should UNINSTALL all ASUS REALTED apps to get the maximun performance and minimun errors. This apply to ALL ASUS hardware (:sadface:); you loose most lighting optios, and some ASUS energy options and SSD storage care, you will have native Windows options instead. - At full heavy duty usage, it is a bit noisy and a bit hot, do not use on your LAP TOP - Speakes Max volume is not SUPERB, it is adecuate, They are not meant be heard in noisy ambients. Get a good set of headphones. - No web cam - the weight is a bit excesive if you plan to carry this laptop around too much.
