It’s a Good laptop for videogames, i like it, it help me a lot, it’s perfect for it.

You're not going to be running intensive games on max settings but it works great. The RGB lighting is a bit gimmicky and I wish the charging port is located in the rear but other than that, can't complain.

Great computer for all my gaming needs. Really enjoying it's design and RGB keyboard. The only thing I didn't realize I'd miss is a number pad, but that's on me. I can always buy a wireless keyboard, right?

Verdict: I wasn’t sure this laptop could meet my needs, but it has become my go to travel laptop for gaming, and work on-the-go. I love it. First impressions. Wow, it’s small, light, and sleek. The top of the laptop has rainbow reflections. When the box is fully opened, the laptop raises up from the box. It’s a nice unboxing experience. Esthetic. The design of this laptop is impressive. The keys look sharp and feel comfortable. The touchpad is large and feels nice. The screen is advertised at 15.6”, but the bezel is very thin, making the screen look larger than it is. I am used to 17” laptop screens and large monitors, and I actually love this package as it is. The webcam is quite good and allows for login with facial recognition, which is a VERY convenient and welcomed feature. General computer performance. The AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS provides exceptional performance and speed for heavy tasks. In general, I prefer more than 16 GB of RAM because I run several demanding programs at once with at least 50 tabs open. However, given the size of this laptop, I am very impressed with the multi-tasking performance of the included 16 GB of RAM, dual channel memory. I am more careful about how many things I run at once, but I can work with these specs without a problem. The laptop includes a 512 GB SSD, which makes for a quick bootup and zippy performance. However, space will run out fairly quickly after downloading three to five games. In general, the fans are pretty quiet and do a good job. When more cooling is required, the laptop will get a little louder. Keep in mind that the fans need to breathe, so it is best to avoid laying the laptop on a bed or blanket. I now use a cooling pad with fans, and the laptop stay super cool, even on the highest game settings for extended periods. The Asus Rogue button has a dedicated “Armoury Crate” button to quickly adjust gaming performance settings. The laptop handled Mech Warrior 5 and Warzone without a problem, averaging above 70 FPS. I am very impressed with the RTX 3060 graphics card: graphics and gameplay are smooth and fast. Of note, when gaming on battery power only, battery life will only last 2 to 3 hours, instead of the expected 6 hours plus. Things I love. - Great size and form factor – thin, light, and powerful! - I love the lighted keys that change colors - The touchpad feels nice, and it is quite big - The webcam allows facial recognition login… nice! - The WQHD screen is beautiful, with vibrant colors and 165hz refresh rate - I love the RTX 3060, I can notice significant performance improvements from my RTX 3050 Ti - The solid-state drive provides for fast startups, but 516GB fill up quickly - While more RAM is always better, I am actually quite happy with the included 16 GB RAM of dual channel memory (DDR5) - Excellent performance for most games on high settings, specially considering the portability of this laptop - Very respectable speakers - Powerful fan when you need it; it will get louder when it really gets going - It comes with Wifi 6 Things I don’t love. - I wish the webcam had a privacy slider. All laptops should include a slider. Overall, the ASUS ROG 15.6” AMD Ryzen 9 laptop is a winner! For the last 20 years, I have purchased 17” laptops for maximum screen real-estate and performance, and I’ve also had to struggle to fit them in backpacks, and then I’ve had to reluctantly lug them around for years. After getting this laptop, I am no longer traveling with huge laptops. This laptop is thin, light, and powerful, with a beautiful screen, great speakers, and awesome gaming performance. It's my new travel companion that does it all. I love it!

Beautiful machine and great price. It’s actually cheaper to buy the laptop with low specs and then build & add the Ram and SSD. The screen is wonderful, all the games run good. Battery life is ok, not too great.

Good price, great gaming performance but the issue is battery life. Screen was displaced after glue started falling off and created a vacuum hole due to the hotness.

I have been using this laptop for some time now and I can honestly say that it has been stellar in its performance. It has flawlessly ran every game I have thrown at it.

excelent machine, great feel overall, although my open box came with a little keyboard issues, mainly the d key had to be pressed a lot and the space bar is pressed in on the bottom, everything else runs great and im in the process id talking to asus to get it fixed as i dont recide in the us and cant return it. Best laptop i've owned by far.

Great laptop for gaming. The only downside is if you have max settings on gpu and cpu your 200 watt charger is not going to cut it and you will lose battery percentage, so if you game all day your laptop might die.

Great laptop! Fast, reliable, light weight. Haven't had a single issue so far and have been using a couple months. Handles gaming better than any laptop I've had in the past! Very easy to upgrade storage and ram! Has pretty good sound for a laptop also.

When on sale, this Laptop is a hands down purchase! The Good +The screen is extremely gorgeous! +It has 2 easily accessible m.2 ports, both PCIe 4.0 +Over 7h of battery life with optimization. Over 9h if you do serious things like under-volt and micro manage settings. +The 6900HS is an excellently well rounded processor. It is literally good at everything. +On battery, the integrated 680M can provide up to 1h30m of demanding gaming or about 4h of low spec gaming. +The speakers are some of the best I've ever heard on a laptop. +The performance is great. The RTX 3060 is perfect for this resolution and processor combination. The Bad -The battery life... If you don't optimize, the battery life is hilariously bad. -1 configurable ram slot. The other ram is soldered on. -The heat. This laptop gets hot! A cooling pad does help. -The Software is rough. If you are confident, its worth it to do a fresh wipe and install of windows. Here's some uncommon tips to help with battery life and heat: After switching to battery, go to armory crate and set GPU mode to optimized. Then, choose the silent profile. Next, in windows power options (Shown in pics), edit the silent profile. Change the processor power management setting when on battery, to 5% minimum and 50% maximum. These settings will affect the frequency of the cores and the number of cores windows will "park" or "turn off".

Hello, I have just bougth an “Asus Rog Zephyrus G15” at Miami Best Buy, im live in Argentina. The computer came in a perfect way, with te box and everything in place, BUT at the moment of using it, the problem appeared. I started playing Call of Duty MW II (a game that the hardware should support perfectly) the computer started to overheat, getting up to 95°C / 368,15 K. I understand that this is a normal temperature for a gamer pc, but the problem is that the heat melted the computer monitor, and removed the support of it, the first time I used it. I don’t believe that’s a normal behavior and this is a +1500 USD computer, so I need an answer. How should I continue now? Are you going to make a refound of it? Are you going to change my computer? Adding a picture of it (at the moment it melted the situation was worst than what you can see in here). Rgds, Franco.
