It is a great balance of power, reliability, and affordability for a gaming laptop. It isn't flimsy or cheap like some other manufacturers, but it isn't built out of solid metal like some more expensive options. I really don't think you can go wrong with this one.

Trouble that I'm having is that BestBuy sold a laptop that was previously owned and did not disclose that information to me. When I tried to register the laptop, I learned that it had a previous owner and I'm having difficulty satisfying ASUS demand of proof of ownership. I show the receipt from BestBuy but ASUS said that the receipt needed to show BestBuy logo. BestBuy don't show their logo on their receipts. At least not on the one they gave to me. I'll be returning the laptop, hopefully for an exchange and hopefully for one that doesn't have issues.

Charger port connector is flimsy. One of the USB ports is not quite the right size - it's very difficult to use (but is usable). Fans are loud. Apart from those complaints, it looks and feels great. It performs well for a compact gaming laptop.
