After about 9 months of intermittent use, the fans started making noise. I went onto the Asus website, entered my SN, and lo and behold, I'm not covered under warranty. 9 months on a $1200 laptop before I have to go and fix it myself or pay someone. They don't care when it came out of the box for use, they care when it was manufactured, so I'm outside of the warranty time frame. I will fix it and keep it running, I just think they should honor their warranty like almost everything else from delivery date, not the date of manufacture.

Battery life is around 5 hours when you turn off the GPU, turn down brightness, turn on battery saver, etc if you are mostly just using chrome and simple applications. When plugged in, it's very powerful in performance

The only thing I am not so satisfied with is the US version only has an FHD screen in the i7-12700H&3060 version. However, in Asia, the same i7-12700H version is equipt with a 2K resolution screen.

If the laptop will not power on, boot up or it's just a black screen, please do the following. Please try to do a power cycle by pressing and holding down the power button to shut it down completely. If it still black screen after a few minutes, at least 10 minutes, please repeat the power cycle process again. If the laptop is applying updates in the System Registry, it will black screen temporarily until the update were applied successfully. Also, please try to disconnect the power cable and let the unit drain for 24 hours to clear the memory. This will reset the hardware to default settings. After doing this, please reconnect your AC adapter, do not power on the laptop until the battery was charged.

Even if you only stream youtube videos without gaming, it lasts for about 3 hrs and not more than that. Other than that, everything goes well and it performs with amazing speed.

Powerful laptop!

Very powerful and full of features (ports, configuration software). The only con is it get hot... i think this is a consecuence of putting so much processing power inside a laptop but you can turn on the internal cooling system
