Hello, after spending the amount of time I did with this particular laptop. Going to have to give it a 1 starts rating. This laptop produces a lot of heat where the (Keys end on top of the key board.) Where if you touch that area, you most diffidently felt the heat. As well, feeling the heat on the keys around that area. Not a good experience in my book. If you want to use this laptop comfortably? On top of that, fan noise is pretty high. This was happening while gaming. When I was doing regular work it worked completely fine. I end up returning the laptop for another one. All in all, if you can stand the heat, and the load fan noise? It would be a good deal for a cheaper price. Would not recommended this laptop to a friend.

Summary: Great gaming laptop in the price range with an awesome 16" (16:10) display and the powerful specifications, all needed input ports, fair battery life and excellent audio. Details: This laptop has a good compact design that feels quite exquisite. There are tiny bezels around display and it has enough space at the top for a camera and microphones. I like the "Ergolift" hinge design. The screen can be easily adjusted. The display is beautiful, audio (6x speaker system) is excellent and in terms of I/O ports, it has pretty much everything that you will need. One drawback/complaint that I have is that all the input ports are crammed on to left side which sometimes result in tangled wires. The keyboard is standard design. It doesn't has NumPad and Function keys. The trackpad is standard and pretty responsive. The keys have backlight and have good feel to touch. It has "Windows Hello" included with the main camera. There is no finger print reader. Intel Core - i7 processor, 16 GB RAM and 1 TB of SSD with RTX3060 make this laptop provide excellent performance in all kinds of settings/use. I tried "Battlefield V", "Doom Eternal" and "Civ 6" on it so far and have had good experience (Disclaimer: I am a casual gamer, not a hard-core one). I have also used it for my day-to-day work and it was able to handle multiple CPU and memory hungry applications running at the same time. Overall, I am happy with this laptop.

So far a great laptop with a very good monitor and is impressive running certain games. The fans can get a lil loud but that can be solved with headphones. I really enjoy this laptop a lot but I do recommend you get it when it’s on sale. I have a desktop PC and I’m more used to low CPU and GPU temps but I did realize that it was normal for gaming laptops to get really hot (70-90 degrees C). I recommend plugging laptop in for gaming as battery will go down very fast from high end games. And if you don’t want your battery to go down so fast when not gaming just turn on silent mode and lower brightness and turn on battery saver.

Before buying I did my homework looking for the pros and cons of this laptop. I was very tempted to get the 3060 2K panel with an i9 processor, but considering the 3060 performance this panel is fantastic. Very bright, color-accurate minor screen bleed in the bottom. Indeed this powerhouse runs a little hot, but as expected. Monitoring the temps and tuning the Asus Armory software I get 73C with the processor and 80C GPU. The small chassis makes it difficult to touch the middle keyboard and upper hotkey region due to high heat, but nothing that compromises. Audio is fantastic and battery life is very decent around 8h.

The premium portable format, the versatile 16-inch 16:10 display, and the powerful specs for this segment are the main selling points of the 2022 Zephyrus M16 series, especially with the move towards the 12th gen Intel hardware and the higher-power RTX 3000Ti GPUs helped out by a MUX. Battery life still isn't amazing with Intel Alder Lake, even if improved from the 2021 generation, and potential buyers would still have to accept the quirky IO and thermal design of this series, as well as the fact that many configurations are still only available with 16 GB of dual-channel memory, without a real option for 32 GB.

This Asus laptop is beautiful from the get go. Just opening the box is an experience in itself. The Asus ROG Zephyrus 16" laptop is light and thin and was built for gaming. One of the best features of this laptop is that it only weighs in at 4.41 pounds and it is only .78" thin which makes it so easy to carry in a laptop bag. The color of the laptop is and "off black" so it looks very professional in any setting and you can't even tell it's a gaming laptop. USB Type-C Charging Headphone jack The battery life has lasted around 7 hours when full on gaming which is an improvement over the previous laptop. This is a great laptop for someone who has to use it for both school/work and enjoys gaming. It's great that it is light weight and and that you can't tell that it is a gaming laptop from just looking at it. It can be used for your day-to-day and handle your gaming at the same time. I would recommend this laptop to a friend.

The best laptop in terms of performance and gaming and portability. Perfectly tuned by Asus in every term but one downside is that the coating for the inner body or the keyboard area is very delicate, gets stained easily and might come off in future.but you can charge it using a type c charger of 65watts while working. Best display and speakers. Much better than any other laptop. Expected battery life will be around 7 hours in igpu mode

Been using for 8 months now and have no disappointments. Does run a little hot when gaming but hasn't had any issues due to that. Not as loud as I expected from the reviews when gaming. Display is amazing and the RGB works good. Have had no issue with built in ASUS software, seems very detailed. Added an additional m2 drive and updated ram to 40GB. Would be nice to allow more RAM but thats the max it can hold. I use this unit for work and play,

This laptop meets or exceeds my expectations. I was worried about the fan noise and the overheating issues that I read about, but even tho it does run a little warm now and then, it doesn't overheat and the only time I've heard the fans was when I ran it thru a self diagnoses. Fast and extremely great graphics. I play a lot of games as well as doing pics and videos with a whole lot more ease than any other computer I've had. Would recommend this laptop. Even playing the latest games I get about 3 to 4 hrs of battery life.

Incredibly powerful laptop. I got this to start creating 4K videos with my DJI mini 3 pro drone as well as my GoPro. Makes it incredibly easy to do so. The only thing that is noticeable is when you start using it for the video editing and high performance the fans really kick in and the sound is pretty noticeable. Not quite a 747 taking off on a run way, but it is noticebale. That would be the reason for only a 4 star instead of 5 star.

I've had this laptop for a bit now. I would recommend getting a secondary SSD and installing it if you're going to want to install multiple video games. It does have a spare slot internally. As far as performance it does great. Unplugging and doing minimal tasks, also great. If you're running games it's best to have it plugged in because those will drain FAST.

This laptop outperforms. I got this laptop when it was on sale for $1400, so I lucked out. My initial testing left me upset as lightbleed was an issue and one of the fans was randomly throwing errors. Switched it out at my local Best Buy for one with no issues at all. I would recommend running games on lower performance settings just to escape the loud fans that all gaming laptops come with. This laptop has been a breeze to work with.

Bought and returned 3 different laptops before settling with this one. -has less backlight bleed than other gaming laptops I tried -premium feel all around -Great performance and screen Brightness Only con I have for this laptop is how loud the fan is compared to the AMD option, headphones definitely fixed that issue.

Great performance and screen quality. The fans are loud when running some programs. One negative is that the coating on the laptop started peeling shortly after I received the product. It also would benefit from more storage. It is essential to have an ethernet port, which this does! Please keep this feature!

I bought this laptop because I travel quite a bit for work, and wanted to game on the go. I needed a slim laptop that is easy to travel with. I can say, this laptop performs well. When playing Forza Horizon 5, I have the graphics set to Ultra, and MXAA to 4X, and I maintain about 95 FPS. The Graphics temps stay in the mid 70's. The keyboard does get a little warm when gaming, but it is not excessive in my opinion. I found elevating the laptop off of the table a little bit does bring the temps down. I have seen them as low as 65C in a cool room. The display has great color and is smooth when gaming. The motherboard does have an extra slot to add a second NVME drive, which i have done since the primary drive is only 512 gb. The ony negative feedback I have is the battery does not last long. I can game for maybe 30 minutes on the battery alone. I know the Graphics card has a TGP of 120, so low battery life is expected. 30 minutes seems low. Most of the time i have it plugged in when gaming, it just would be nice to have a longer battery life.

purchased this laptop a year ago and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance and design. However, it’s important to note that this model comes with 16GB of RAM, which may be limiting for users who require extensive multitasking or run memory-intensive applications. For most everyday tasks, 16GB is sufficient, but power users might find it restrictive. Despite this, I highly recommend this laptop. I’m considering upgrading to one of their newer models

Great laptop, runs good. Low battery life, a little noisy

I’ve used this laptop for over a year I’ve expanded the ram to 32gbs and added a second m.2 it’s been a tank I use it more them my $4k gaming pc I built. It’s fast easy to use set up and get going out of the box I haven’t had a single issue with it

Love my laptop. Pros: Ive been using it for about 3 months now and it runs great! Ive installed a secondary 2TB m2 drive to store more games. So far the graphics are great on BF2042, COD WZ, Ghost Recon. I also run adobe suite and rendering times with 4k video are very good. Cons: It does run a little loud and hot

Great machine. Works well for what I use it for. It does obviously get a bit hot so have a fan underneath but zero problems in the 1st year. Solid graphics, speed is great. Holds up for a lot of the gaming I do. I will say I haven’t played any RPG shooters on it.
