Needed a powerful, but portable, Windows laptop for graphic design work and some mobile gaming. This machine delivers and proves less is more! Unlike most gaming laptops, it is not only thin, but relatively light in weight, making it easy to toss in a backpack and carry to college. The Ryzen processor and NVIDIA graphics seem to have plenty of power to handle all the Adobe CC tools. Best Buy delivered with an excellent sale price and additional Student Deals discount which allowed me to get more machine than I thought my budget would allow. Provided the hardware is reliable over the long haul, I'll be one happy camper!

Good build quality, and good specs. You will be able to play all the triple a titles on medium settings comfortably. My only gripe with this laptop is the heat. She gets pretty hot when playing games. Would recommend a laptop cooling pad.

I finally settled on this laptop after waiting for a long time for my ideal laptop. Thin and light, powerful enough to handle most games and simulations from school. The GA502 has not disappointed so far. The battery is great too. My only issue with it is the wireless card. It is very slow and not great. Everything else has been what I've always wanted in a laptop. The G15 is out I guess with a better CPU I might return this for the G15 if the difference in price is not more than $200. Otherwise, there is no need for me to change it.

I was not expecting anything special when I purchased this laptop it does run hot but I got it for VR gaming and development, mostly development (but half life alyx runs great on here with VDT and OQ). I mostly run programs like 3D Coat, Zbrush and the affinity’s suite of programs and out side of the fan being noisy but it’s a gaming laptop, I’ll take the noise I have a headset. I will definitely be buying this brand in the future the overall build is plastic but it isn’t cheap feeling, it’s dense and sturdy.

Bought this primarily in order to run Cities: Skylines and after a month of seemingly constant use (I'm not sure he's taking breaks to sleep) by teenager on summer vacation, it is working out great and hasn't had any problems. No lag, no glitches so far. At first the fan was running on high almost continuously due to the graphics of the game, so we bought a cooling pad and that keeps it quieter much of the time. When other, less demanding software is being used it is quiet without the cooling pad.

Overall I’m pretty happy with it, but there is one thing that drives me crazy when I use it. It has this horrible high pitch coil whine when the keyboard back light turns off. It is really annoying because there is no way I can figure out to keep on the backlight, so every 10 seconds without typing you get this horrible screeching in your ears. Other than that the only other down side is no web cam. On the positive side though battery life is good for productivity work and I routinely get over 8 hours when used for this. As far as games go it hasn’t had any problems with what I’ve played. The speakers are a real shocker as they are really good for a laptop.

This is a great little unit for me. It's slim and light and seems to be powerful enough for what I'm using it for. The only drawback is that the fans are pretty loud. Otherwise no current complaints.

This gaming machine is a great buy if you are slightly on a budget, what stuck out to me at first was the great build quality, very clean with a multitude of different ports to use. In addition is also plays games very well and came with many built in free programs to utilize while gaming. It also has quite a bit of different customization for your gaming and viewing pleasure such as screen colors for FPS and cinema. Overall, an amazing bang for your buck gaming laptop. Not necessarily for extreme budget but under $1000 on sale.

I love it. It runs all the games I play but I know it will be obsolete within a couple years that’s why it’s a 4 star review. It’s a budget gaming laptop with balls no webcam is kind of a bummer but I don’t use one anyway

My daughter needed this computer to finish her Interior Architecture Degree at San Diego State Univ. from home due to Covid. We scrambled to find something that could handle her CAD programs, Sketch-up and etc. and this product has more than filled the bill. Powerful product. It is a bit noisy (fan type sound), but it is cooling the computer down and my son in law (a super gamer) said it is needed and shut the computer off when you are not using. It's a keeper for her new career!

Light weight, fast and easy to travel with. I don't game. I just wanted the extra juice at a good price. Only complaint is minor. I don't like the charger cord on the side. Would prefer it in the back or toward the back of the machine.

Nothing needs to be upgraded and that's amazing at this price point. Plenty of memory, storage space, CPU horsepower and a very strong GPU for this price. Battery life is also tremendous in Silent power mode. When plugged in and set to Turbo, the gaming capabilities are very surprising - helped by the fact that the display is 'only' 1080p Great speakers as well. Loud, clear and room filling. This should help changes people's minds about AMD in the mobile space.

This laptop is a epic gaming piece for a beginner its has plenty of potential for gaming. Asus did cut around the edges by leaving out a webcam also build quality feels solid but mostly plastic nice touch up with top lid. One thing i noticed as well for build quality was the touchpad wasn't as sensitive even when playing with setting as it should due to not so smooth surface will need some finger grease to work. Fans are very loud and screen Lighting and color isn't 100%to my expectations. Overall i would give it a 8/10 but when it comes down to price and graphics card processor it does have internals that i would say outshine the outside so i would bump it to a 9/10 needs minor updates in the next gen.

Purchased this as a gaming/personal use laptop because I travel a lot for work. Specs wise, you get a lot for the price and I have been very pleased with the general performance. Two things I am not in love with: The WiFi card is questionable. Doesn’t seem to have great range (I’m not talking about being all that far from the WiFi source) and the speeds are definitely slower than my home WiFi offers. I have reinstalled the drivers without much change. It gets pretty hot if sitting flat on a table while gaming. I have noticed good results by placing it on a raised stand or propping the back up on a hardback book. Overall, for the price I would buy it again and recommend it to others.

I also dont care for the fact the speakers are on the bottom of the laptop ... the sound is muffled when on your lap (aka its a LAPtop they should've thought of that) this day and age the fact its not standard to have a touch screen or web cam is odd.. it was also a bummer not having a sd card reader as i use that at work, but over all it does well for games and graphics are good. Sound is great when not muffled

I have only had my Zephyrus for a short time, but I love this laptop. It runs the games I play well, and the speakers on it, when not using headphones, sound great. Very sleek and streamlined. I'm looking forward to seeing how it handles Cyberpunk 2077 and VtM Bloodlines 2 which is why I bought it. Wish me luck... No webcam though, which I didn't realize, and need, so you will have to buy one for it.
