For one thing it has only an HDMI 2.0 port which doesn’t support 4k resolutions at 120 frames per second. Secondly, the CPU is limited unlike the razer blade 14 I replaced this laptop with.I also had a lot of connection and compatibility issues trying to connect to a 4K 120hz with a usb c to hdmi cable.

Picture quality is amazing. Sadly, the chassis is creaky and the perimeter of the screen was kind of falling off.

Dual graphics cards bad idea

IPS yellow screen bleed on 4 corners was really bad. Laptop was sleek and fast and had mostly great performance. Unfortunately the watts were low for the rtx 3080 so you don't get the full power of the GFX card.

Didn’t live up to expectations.

I’ve dealt with it until it started interrupting my work. After that I brought it to the Geek Squad and was devastated to learn that the GPU was going bad. ALWAYS get warranties people.

Great product! I received it via UPS quickly and in perfect condition. It took 15 minutes to get it up and running. I ordered a 2tb m.2 ssd and 32gb of Samsung ram to upgrade it. Took 15 minutes to open it add the 2tb ssd and swap the 8gb dimm with the new 32gb and closed it up. The laptop fired up with no issues and reported 40gb of ram and the 2tb ssd. Now I'm rocking 40gb of ram and 3tb of fast storage in a sleek gaming laptop. This thing is a beast.

Solid, portable

The most demandimg new game may require 1440p for solid frame rates Extremely protable. Only complaint is the lack of availability and the fact they keep increasing the price. I got mine for 1999.99 in may of 2021.

There isn't much you can tweak to gain any extra speed so for the money I'd go with a higher end RTX 3070 gaming laptop.

QC Sucks with Asus!

After updating drivers, factory reset and got a look by Geek Squad, nothing literally worked to get this resolved. After a lot of digging, hearing that it was caused by a new keyboard driver released by Asus that bricked the keyboard. Everything worked fine, but for a $2000 laptop, a lack of QC is unacceptable. Purely luck whether you are getting a brick or a powerful laptop. Turned to Alienware M17 r4 i9 3070 for +$200 for a better reputation.

I use it mostly for gaming with some schoolwork on the side. Overall this thing is great. It has sp,e hiccups every now and again but nothing most computers don't encounter. The build quality is very good. The 3070 version was sold out so I picked up the 3080 version. all games run very smoothly. I've never had a display over 60 fps, this 165 Hz display is amazing. Never going back. The price is a bit high for what I wanted to pay... that's my only complaint. Before purchasing I read and watched a bunch of reviews and I wasn't let down. Solid choice for a gaming laptop.
