    Overpriced and Less Features. Get the $1800 3070.

    It's a beautiful laptop that has less features ( no rgb led ) than the $1800 3070 version available here at best buy. The 3080 just isn't able to do much at all in this form factor, you get a tiny bump in performance at best over the 3070 model. It's really sad that the only way to get 32gb of ram in the zephyrus is to spend 800 dollars more and you get less features and an negligible video card upgrade.

    Quality Control issues ruin experience

    I recently purchased this model of the ROG Zephyrus g15. I was excited about the 1440p high refresh panel and the white aesthetics on this model. I have not purchased a Asus laptop product before. Right out of the box, I was disappointed with some white paint job defects where the paint had what looked like grease stains, and specs where the paint just didn't cover. I let those issues go. Now on the 14th day, I've noticed that the paint job has 0 durability. Placing it in my plush cushioned laptop section of my backpack, the laptop's own parts seem to scuff the laptop itself. With new paint damage and chips INSIDE the clam shell of the laptop. I treat my tech like a newborn baby. With my level of care, I would never expect this kind of wear and tear in 14 days. On top of that, the panel I was really looking forward to already has multiple dead pixels in the middle of the screen. I paid 2500 + tax for this laptop. For the money, I did not get the quality experience I hoped for. On the 14th day since my purchase, I would return the laptop but since I'm traveling, and do not have the original packaging on hand, that's impossible. I regret my purchase.

      All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, these are random problems. Normally, ASUS provides one year warranty coverage, if product was purchased brand-new, in order to fix or repair any hardware or part that stop working prematurely under normal usage.

    I can't imagine why Asus loads this machine up with great hardware and then cheaps out on poor bezels that pinch the screen causing light bleed. If I remove the bezel - zero light bleed. Push it back in and there are spotlights everywhere. Asus - do you read these reviews? Can you comment?

    I purchased the laptop in may, it worked for 60 days. Then started to just restart consistently every 2 minutes. It was sent to asus repair center they had the laptop for 3 months. I got it back and it still was restarting all the time. So once again it is back at asus being worked on. I spent $2700 and have only been able to use it for 2 months. This is the most unreliable laptop I have ever owned. I wouldnt recommend this laptop to anyone. I have always liked asus products how ever I will not be purchasing another.

    I purchased this laptop approximately two weeks ago and am very happy with it. Maybe I was just lucky, but I didn't experience any QA issues: no backlight bleed; no speaker popping; and no creaking on my unit. The chassis feels high quality and less 'plastic-ey' than I had expected based on pictures. The gaming performance is incredible for such a portable unit. Trackpad is even nicer than I was expected from the , already positive, reviews. I have played Destiny 2 and Forza Horizon 4 so far, and both run at 100+ FPS on ultra settings. In a thin and light frame, this laptop can get warm although not excessively hot. I do recommend a laptop stand paired with separate keyboard and mouse for longer gaming sessions. This is not a cheap model, but the white finish is gorgeous when viewed in person so if you can treat yourself, go for it!

    Dead straight out of the box, fine-- I charge it for 3 hours like it tells me to, actually-- more like 6 hours. Go to turn it on, lights flash, and nothing turns on, meanwhile, charging it has made it HOT??? Like it's doing absolutely nothing and it's *hot* to the touch. Search online-- apparently this is just an issue people have when they get this. And none of the posted things to try have fixed this issue. Will be returning tomorrow.

      1. Unplug the charger
      2. Press and hold the power button for 1 full minute
      3. Plug in only the charger and start up normally
