Easy setup for this router and the UI is user friendly. I've had no problems with the wifi since switching to this router. No random drops or loss of signal. Solid product and affordable!

Phenomenal our internet is so much faster and this baby reaches farther than any router we've had before. Definitely satisfied with my purchase.

Honestly this worked better than expected. I'm using an RT-BE88U as the main router on my main floor with this RT-BE82U as an AI Mesh node in my basement with a wired backhaul and works in my house beautifully. The RT-BE88U covered the house originally with enough signal, but my gigabit internet speeds turned into 50-100 Mbps in the basement or far side of the house. With this router added, I now get 700-800 Mbps over wireless in nearly the entire house. I've had no issues roaming through the house and have full coverage for all 5400 sq feet and then some.

Our household is a gamer household and our current router wasnt allowing us to play certain online games together sonce we couldnt get different IPs for each computer - this fixed our issues without much setup and keeps our downloads split evenly

Wanted to upgrade my network to WiFi 7 and I did a ton of research to build my first AIMesh system for faster gaming speeds in my bedroom. I purchased 2 of these BE82u routers and ran a 100 ft Ethernet cord under my house to connect the two routers via hardwire for the mesh system. Now I have lighting fast WiFi in every single room of my house. If you frequently use WiFi further away from your router, I highly recommend a mesh system! It’s so worth it. I didn’t need tri band so I went with dual band

Easy set up with good speeds and range in our bi-level house.

A well priced, Asus Wi-Fi7 dual band route that is compact, easy to program and works well. It can be used as part of a MESH setup, which I'm doing, or as a fully independent router. The menus are easy to follow if you want to setup in more detail, but the guided setup will be fine for most folks. I would definitely buy this router again.

Wonderful upgrade for the WiFi in my home. My nighthawk router died after 6 years and this upgrade has proven to be worth the money and it works much faster and efficiently.

The salesman at Best Buy recommended this router journey because I needed a little more distance in my house so where am I fiber optics come in. It was so easy to connect with the app Asus. And everything connected immediately in the house

I researched Consumer Reports to find this router. I have a 2600 square foot, single level home. It is centrally located and seems to work well. It was easy to install. It is also supposed to come with a 3 year warranty, but I don't like the requirements. One has to register as an ASUS member and agree to privacy on the network (which is normal), but it also wants you to join their Asus Cloud. I can't seem to register, without agreeing to it. I suppose I can't register my router for the three year warranty, unless I do it. I refuse. If I could have registered without the "cloud" attachment, I would have given five stars.
