Purchased so I could have a small computer/tablet to use for work when I travel. Had high hopes since it was an Asus and the brand has good ratings. Well, first it was very slow, then the screen driver started to act up, then it would just stop working and I'd have to wait five minutes to restart it, then as I would type on my classroom website, the website would randomly reload. I would just complete my comments to a student, when the website would reload and I'd loose all my work. I was NOT happy. I switched to my old laptop and didn't have any issues with the website. I reformatted the Asus twice, but each time it made it worse. Gave up and returned it. Back to looking for a new tablet/laptop. Bestbuy did make the return easy and I'll buy the replacement through them..

This laptop/tablet operating under Windows 10 was a little difficult (and a little slow) to use at first. Updates are painfully slow, happen whenever, without asking permission, interrupting whatever the user is doing. That said, a little help and encouragement from James, at our local Best Buy store, was sufficient to get my prospective college freshman back on track.

Great speed, accessibility, and is great for managing mobile devices. The speakers are a little weak but I only ever watch things on the computer with it in front of me, however I usually use headphones regardless.

This has more potential than a tablet. I got it to use in my travel trailer this summer so I could keep up with E mail and Finances while im out and about. seems to be doing the job just fine.

Useless as a tablet

I'm really disappointed because I liked this machine, but it's useless as a tablet. The power button is on the side where your hand naturally goes when you hold it in tablet view, and it is extremely sensitive, which results in the machine being constantly powered off. I hate to disparage it because of one design flaw, but it's a major one. I will be returning this and continuing my search.

Slow Compared to year old Asus X205TA

I bought this after giving my son my Asus X205TA thinking it was newer and would be as fast if not faster and give me a touchscreen and higher specs. This tablet is very slow when compared to the X205TA. I will end up giving this to my son at some point as he likes having the flip touchscreen and get myself something else.

I received this for Christmas 2014. It is slow and runs choppy. Also it takes 3 - 4 full days to charge completely and if you play on it while it's charging it will die on you. It glitches like crazy. :(
