Fast, fluid, and smoov. The device is light enough to take anywhere and with WIFI, the internet is always at your fingertips. Fast with KitKat 4.4, and in December< I received an OTA update for Lollipop 5.0. You think this tablet was great with KitKat, wait until it gets upgraded to Lollipop. Highly recommended!

This tablet is very user-friendly. The base apps and widgets that come with the programming are very helpful. Calender, power management, alarms, note taking functions, all very good and easy to use. Speed of applications is phenomenal and it has a great battery life. Cons: Camera isn't the highest quality, but I use an actual camera to take pictures. Location function isn't very accurate for the weather widget: it puts my location as about 100 miles north of my actual location, and will not reset to my real location. Also, sometimes it only charges to around 95% but says it is fully charged; to remedy this I just plug it back in for a few minutes and it's good to go. Oh, and the only case/cover I could find specific to this model is made and shipped from Germany. Can't wait to try out my new German-Engineered hard-shell case. Overall, great tablet for games, apps, movies/TV shows, notes, and a plethora of other things. Highly recommended.

The problems with this tablet are numerous and frustrating. It appears to be a very well built Android 4.4 tablet. I don't know if the ASUS Zen interface doesn't like the Intel Atom processor, or if the whole thing was a last minute throw together to make a few bucks, or what. But this is the worst tablet I have ever owned or used. Applications crash all the time with little or not feedback or indication of a problem. Wifi connectivity is very poor regardless of network signal strength, bandwidth, or other devices on the wifi; testing with other Android devices showed very good connectivity and speeds, this tablet still had lag. Application updates, whether built-in to the OS or apps I had installed, caused serious system lag and were often difficult to cancel. On the good side, the display was VERY good looking, when the tablet worked, and when I could watch video on it the playback was nice. I am very disappointed in this tablet and ASUS in general, whom I used to hold in very high regard.

I bought this tablet for a gift for my parents. It's an excellent tablet for the price. I also have the same one for myself. Its very user friendly, easy to personalize, and has great added features. The processor is quick and we haven't had any problem with it ever. I've had mine a year and my parents have had there's for a couple months. I would highly recommend this tablet. Do your research like I did and you won't be disapointed.

For the price it is a great entry level tablet. Speed is fast enough for most 3D games and apps rarely lag. Screen coloration could be richer but overall has a good screen. Touch response lacks a little in some instances but nothing detrimental to operation. Sound is top notch. Cameras could be better, but again for the price, you get what you pay for.

I was looking for a tab that I can use while traveling and noticed this asus transformer pad. I had some doubt regarding its intel atom processor but decided to gave it a try. This tab has performed really well in terms of performance so far. All my games have run pretty well so far; It handles multi apps running in background pretty well. Dispay could be better but I am satisfied given the price. Battery seems to hold well while you are browsing or playing games. However it runs out of juice very quickly while watching HD movie. (surprisingly) All said and done 4 stars for this tab. Will recommend to a friend

The tablet is easy to use. It is speedy and easy to download apps. My sister never had a tablet before and she sends time on it every night.

Love the size of the tablet since it's a bit oversized than others. Loved the ease of use. Charged to 100% no problem, once it needed a recharge it would never go above 80%. I then read reviews about it and see that many have had the same issue. I should have read them first! Ended up taking it back right away. Oh and it was also a bit difficult to find a case for being that it's larger. Took that back too.

Tablet has a very good screen pictures are excellent. Processor from Intel is fast and can handle multiple applications at once. KitKat is latest android operating system. Bought a Samsung tab but lasted 2 days, Asus has been going fine for 2 months noe with no problems. Battery has a long life but does take a long time to charge up.

The ASUS tablet is a great tablet. it is easy to use and very fast processing. I want to buy another one for my wife.

My wife wanted a tablet so she could become more like her sons with their phones. Actually she needed something to help with her cake decorating projects. The tablet is clear and quick. Very nice features. Cameras are adequate for what they are. It is NOT a camera. Only drawback that no one at Best Buy or ASUS could ever confirm is that you can only set up two user profiles. Also had to return first one because it would only charge to 91%. There are other posts with this same problem. Second one charges fully. We feel this works as good as any tablet we have tried at any price. Buy it and check it out. If it works it will be a good buy!

This replaced another tablet took a learning curve but is working ok . Battery runs down fast need to plug in twice a day if used a little.having trouble with touch screen not very sensitive at times I play cards works good for a while then gets where you can't touch and move have to lay your hole finger tip on screen to get response

The ASUUS Transformer Pad is great as a first tablet, a back-up at home tablet for those time you don't want to burn thru your 3G data plan. A reliable tablet from a trusted brand. Well worth the price, great for the elderly or for kids just starting out.

Received this as a Christmas gift and so far it has been easy to set-up and easy to use. I think for a beginner who doesn't want to spend a lot of money but wants to check e-mail and internet browsing, it works well.

This tablet is really great! It's not an iPad or Galaxy Tab but it is a really nice tablet. It has a good amount of internal storage and the ability to expand with an SD card. The screen is good for watching videos and streaming movies. My kids love playing games on it. This is priced fairly and inexpensive compared to other similar tablets. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who's looking to buy a new tablet.

Had the Transformer 101 for years and loved it, Did not realize how slow it was until I got this new Tablet. Every bit as good and much faster! Also love that it does not need a specialized charger.

Easy to set up, large enough screen. I plan to use it at my vacation house to hook up to my home Xfinity account and get rid of an ugly cable bill I have to pay for when I am not even there!
