Thought that product was suitable for me as first time

I owned an IPad before this, the IPad was easier to use. The battery life on ASUS is only 4 hours. I am still learning whenever my son has time to teach me since it has a lot of features I do not know of.

Bought an Asus Tablet but before it was a month old it didn't work. It is out for repair now - we'll see what happens when I get it back.

I purchased this Tablet 12.15.14... I couldnt justify the price of a 64gb iPad, or an additional monthly access charge... I've had almost 2 full weeks to play with my new Asus Transformer Tablet.. I am new to the Android OS, but have found this tablet easy to navigate. Thus far I havent encountered a single problem. In 2 weeks I have downloaded more apps on this Tablet, then I have in 5 years for my laptop or even my iPhone ! One of the reasons I purchased this was so that our Cat, Hobbes, could play Cat Games.. To date, all (15 ) the Cat Game Apps I have downloaded for him have worked flawlessly. I will be installing a screen protector so Hobbes can play without worrying about scratching the screen. For Myself, I especially like the built in GPS and Offline Map feature. I am ordering a 64gb Micro SD card to store My Maps, pictures and music. I have also ordered a BlueTooth Keyboard and case, and am hoping it pairs well. With any luck this tab and I will put on many miles together, IF Hobbes lets me take it on trips ! As for the price... Best Buy offered it for sale at $20.00 less than the $199.99 that I originally paid... I called and took advantage of their Price Guarantee Program, and will be refunded the $20.00.. :-)

i'm really liking the tablet as it seems to do everything I pretty much need it to do. My problem is trying to find a keyboard with a case. I have had other templates that I have purchased for other people and have never had a problem trying to find a keyboard with the case that will fit this and that works it's very disheartening and very frustrating

This is my first Tablet and it is great,i bought wife an Asus Computer a few yrs. ago now i decided to get a tablet for on the road mostly so i don't have to haul the laptop around.I read the reviews on this one and three others for about 4 months before ordering it,it is what the others say it is,fast bright colors easy to use since i am not computer savy but its pretty darn easy,Android in my opinion is way better than the IOS system.and for 200 bucks it a great price.i order it on a Wednesday morn. and was holding it in my hand Friday evening..Best thing i found out is charge it overnight completely then use it and run the battery down to about 8-10% THEN RECHARGE IT like this it will last about 7.5 to 8 and a half hours..already reccomended this to someone who is interested in a Tablet..

Had this tablet for 2 weeks, in thatvtime i enjoyed the features but it would not charge properly. Only once did it charge to 100% after that it would say charge complete at a lower % each time. Once it reached 62% and claiming charge complete i decided it was best to exchange it for the 10.1 inch samsung galaxy tab 4

I reviewed this product a few days ago and was pretty upset that it had stopped charging. I called into technical support and was prepared to do a warranty exchange on the tablet. But instead I was instructed to hold down my power button for a full minute and then turn the tablet back on, plug the charger in and hold the power button down again for a full minute. Oddly it's been charging ever since. I don't know what the problem was but it's been 3 days and it's charging again.

The problems with this tablet are numerous and frustrating. It appears to be a very well built Android 4.4 tablet. I don't know if the ASUS Zen interface doesn't like the Intel Atom processor, or if the whole thing was a last minute throw together to make a few bucks, or what. But this is the worst tablet I have ever owned or used. Applications crash all the time with little or not feedback or indication of a problem. Wifi connectivity is very poor regardless of network signal strength, bandwidth, or other devices on the wifi; testing with other Android devices showed very good connectivity and speeds, this tablet still had lag. Application updates, whether built-in to the OS or apps I had installed, caused serious system lag and were often difficult to cancel. On the good side, the display was VERY good looking, when the tablet worked, and when I could watch video on it the playback was nice. I am very disappointed in this tablet and ASUS in general, whom I used to hold in very high regard

A month after I purchased this, my battery needed repair because it would not fully charge. After repair my battery drains about 20% per hour. I like the tablet itself, but cannot recommend a table that has such a poor battery.
