This laptop feels high quality coming from a Nitro, the exterior metal feels great. Its thin and the extra inch of screen does wonders. It doesnt get really hot and thats why I never buy the fastest GPU but this is enough for every game I tested

The ASUS TUF 15.6" Gaming Laptop is a powerhouse that perfectly balances performance, durability, and versatility, making it an ideal choice for both gamers and online students. After using this laptop for a few months for both gaming sessions and my online studies, I can confidently say it exceeds my expectations in both areas. Performance: 5/5 Equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of memory, the TUF laptop handles multitasking with ease. Whether I’m attending online lectures, researching assignments, or working on projects, I never experience lag or slowdown. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card takes gaming to a whole new level, delivering stunning visuals and smooth gameplay for the latest titles. The 1TB SSD ensures quick boot times and ample storage for my games, study materials, and everything in between. Design and Build Quality: 4.5/5 The Mecha Grey finish gives the ASUS TUF laptop a sleek, professional look, making it suitable for both gaming marathons and virtual classrooms. The robust build quality adds to its appeal, reassuring me that it can withstand daily use, whether I’m tossing it in my backpack or leaving it on my desk. Display and Audio: 4.5/5 The 15.6" display is vibrant and clear, providing an immersive gaming experience while also being easy on the eyes during long study hours. The color accuracy is impressive, making it great for visual projects or watching online lectures. Additionally, the speakers offer decent audio quality, which enhances both gaming and watching educational videos. Battery Life: 4/5 While gaming laptops are notorious for shorter battery lives, the ASUS TUF performs reasonably well, allowing me to get through my classes without constantly searching for an outlet. It's not the best for extended gaming sessions unplugged, but it does the job for online learning. Cooling System: 5/5 One of the standout features of this laptop is its effective cooling system. After hours of gameplay or intense studying with multiple applications open, the laptop stays surprisingly cool. This ensures a comfortable experience whether I’m gaming or taking notes. I believe the ASUS TUF 15.6" Gaming Laptop is an excellent investment for anyone who juggles gaming and online studies. Its powerful performance, strong build quality, and impressive visuals provide everything you need to excel in both areas. If you’re looking for a reliable machine that can handle your gaming needs without compromising your academic responsibilities, this laptop is definitely worth considering. Highly recommended!

A great laptop, excellent performance on most GPU heavy programs, and handles heavy cpu loads pretty well too. A bit heavy, but definitely still portable, which is good for me as a student. Packaging is great too.

It’s a decent gaming laptop for the performence youre getting, with a few tweaks you can get it at a high framerate in 1080p with medium-high graphics depending on the game. If you turn off a few efficiency cores, you can get cooler temps. Overall nice beginner laptop to start pc gaming.

Pretty surprising! The new frame generation with 40 series, is adding like 30+ frames and some games, and dlss and rtx pretty solid choice, very afford, I added 1tb m.2. In total I’m about $1000 into the laptop, it’s pretty quiet under full load, I did buy a cooling pad for mine! Highly recommend it! I’ll show a few pictures of while I’m on a game, I maxed all the settings! I’m getting pretty solid frames! And the game looks beautiful anno 1800! It also plays midnight suns max setting and looks good, speakers are pretty solid on it I downloaded Dolby from App Store, definitely made the sound a lot better! Batteries pretty solid, definitely have to plug it in if you’re going to do some hard-core gaming.

Excellent laptop with excellent specs. Excellent laptop for modifying. You could also modify the laptop if you want to add more ram, but I’ve been playing hard-core games like Fortnite and call of duty on it and has been working fine. I do recommend this laptop. Recommend you get a VPN with the laptop. For free VPN I recommend to use proton.

Amazing performance for the price (bought an open-box unit), will play pretty much any game but also works very well for software development and other miscellaneous work. Mostly use it plugged in but the battery has been decent for a gaming laptop when unplugged and not using the discrete graphics card. Plus points for having a Thunderbolt port allowing a wide variety of docks and other peripherals.

Bought for $999 during the 48 hour sale. Absolutely worth every penny for the specs. Has worked great for my use. Runs most games at pretty high fps. Only upgrade I've done is from 16gb to 32gb but other than that, the temps are great and I love it!

I'm really enjoying this ASUS TUF Gaming Laptop. It was simple to set up. It has a very rugged yet sleek design. It runs every game that I have just as fast as my desktop computer. I may upgrade the storage capacity and the RAM in the future, but out of the box it works better than expected. The fans are a little loud at times; but with headphones in, they are drowned out by the games. The colors on the keyboard can be changed through Asus Armory Crate to nearly any color to make it more personal. The clear WASD keys make it easy to find them when gaming in the dark. The sound quality is surprisingly good when watching movies. This computer was absolutely the best deal around and I do not have any regrets. Lots of pros and very few cons in my opinion.

Laptop has been perfect for what I was looking for. I needed something for school (CS major) and then something I could game on while traveling for work. It feels durable enough for me (had things shift during a flight and so my bag was sliding in the overhead storage) and there was no damage done. The top is a metal while the bottom is plastic. The metal can catch fingerprints though - same with the keyboard area so I just keep a cloth to wipe down as needed. Battery life has worked out well for me when I’m doing homework on the go. I can go through my school day (roughly six hours) no problem and still have some juice left over for casual browsing. While gaming - depending on your power settings, I hit about 3-4 hours before needing to plug it back in. It’s also easy to take apart to upgrade parts. I upped the RAM as well as added a second SSD to it.
