I enjoy this laptop. The keyboard, touchpad, and exterior texture are super comfortable to work with. Noise is minimum when doing academic work, but it gets noticeable when gaming. However, the decibels are still neglectable since my dorm is always loud lol.

Bought this laptop on sale for under $1000 and even though they used an older processor and DDR4 oposed to DDR5 it definetly gives you what you want when gaming on the go, if you can get it on sale id definetly recommend the purchase!

Runs really fast, 240hz+ on Fortnite, rainbow six, on low competition settings. Just needed more ram for my task so I updated to 32gb, screen is nice vibrant battery life is good too for school work, a complete monster, temps are reasonable 80 avg on cpu gpu

i absolutely love this laptop it starts up super fast its quite and just the features are great the only problem i have with this is the charging port is prefer it on the right side instead of the left but hey its ok I'll get use to it

I bought this computer and it it amazing, it worked perfectly fine until the keyboard stopped working. I couldn’t get any suport from the brand because I live in Brazil

I thoroughly enjoy using this laptop. I hooked it up to a 3440x1400 monitor where I play battlefield 2042 at 60+FPS. Great buy. Would recommend.

Excellent laptop for the price, one of the best deals

It’s a great value. Specially when it’s $999. But my specific modele is plagued by Asus or windows software issues. Sometimes the windows menu disappears. There’s no sound, the display doesn’t let me change the brightness, or the laptop is just frozen at the starting screen. I have to restart it only to end up with a different glitch. Still a buy if you can deal with glitches and driver issues as you encounter them.

At just under $1,000, this laptop is probably the best deal for most folks wanting to get involved in computer gaming. I bought mine a few months ago at the $999 sale price and have thoroughly enjoyed gaming on it more than any of my previous gaming laptops, including older Alienware, Eluktronics, and Gigabyte models. The Asus feels solid, runs everything I have well, and I was able to add a 2TB SSD and upgrade the RAM to 64GB easily. I'm not a huge fan of Armoury Crate, and I know others would want a 13th gen processor, DDR5 RAM, or a higher nit screen. I can honestly say, I am extremely okay with those concessions for this price, and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

You wont find a laptop with a 4070 any time soon for this price. The laptop has nice accurate color, upper economy class build quality, and a spacious amount of hard drive space to boot! I upgraded the ram to 32 gb, and added in a second 2 tb nvme to complete this laptop as the powerhouse that it is. I can play all my games on it with high framerates. I can even charge the laptop through 100W USB-C and slow the battery drain while gaming on the go. Armoury Crate is a great app that helps you manage the performance of the laptop to get high game performance, or eco mode for long life on battery.

Worst gaming purchase ever made. Despite long wait times with tech support and customer Service this laptop froze constantly and Ran slowe than a 4 year old Dell G15 now i cant even reset. Prior to this the display would flicker or become very fuzzy after 15 minutes of play.

This is a great gaming laptop for the price. A 12th gen i7 and RTX 4070 (140W) is great mid range laptop for up 1440p. On titles with DLSS3 even better. Now getting it at $999 on special is a steal. Which is how I got it. With the money saved with the special price I added a 2TB 980 Pro and 64GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 and it is a beast. If you are into AI this thing rocks for text to image generation and with 64GB of RAM it will handle almost any LLM you decide to run. I am primarily a Mac user and all my devices are Apple however if you are working with AI for development this thing has no contender at the $999 price point. Bottom is easily accessible for upgrades. 2 PCIE4 Nvme slots and 2 DDR4 slots (up to 64GB) are just a few screws away. Also very accessible for cleaning the fans from dust, if you use it in a dusty environment. There is very little flex on the body, The keyboard is not great, the number pad is a bit cramped however it was very easy getting used to it. I love the Touchpad, coming from an Apple device and working both on a Mac and the Asus daily I feel no disadvantage to the Touchpad on this laptop. It is silky smooth and very precise with almost no drifting at all. The screen is 1080p and that takes a little getting used to. However, colors are decent but, brightness leaves a little to be desired coming from from a Retina screen. This is a great buy whether it is for work or for entertainment. Even better if you can grab it while on special pricing. MSFS, AC Mirage, Forza Motorsport, Starfield, Cyberpunk all run excellent at Very High / Ultra. Battery life is decent if browsing or streaming however, for gaming you want to be plugged in. I hope someone finds this review helpful if they are undecided about this laptop.
