Screen is nice. Asus rocks. Gaming monitor for the ages.

After having this for around 2 years I was moving the monitor just now and the circle area connecting the neck to the monitor is tilting. Not sure what it is but the monitor is too heavy for the base and now I have to tap it down or something to prevent it from falling over. I don't move this monitor that much but I do move it occasionally on my desk to do other things I always move it at the base so I'm confused.

Love this monitor. Picture is crystal clear. When I stream a show, the picture is great... no matter where I am sitting. My old monitor was dark and hard to view the picture.

Needed to add a monitor to my office away from the office that was responsive, great graphics and a good size. This has fit the bill well.

The monitor is good and very clear for gaming. My only gripe is that I have to wait until my computer boots up for a bit before I turn on the monitor. If I don't, it'll just be black until I turn it off and on again. I don't know, maybe it's just me. Other than that, it does the job.

I am not a gamer. This monitor was purchased for my desktop PC. It has a crystal clear picture that is very easy on these older eyes. I am enjoying it very much.

I know monitors are one of those things where the reviews can get very technical, and for good reason. I’m sure you can find those from a lot of enthusiastic gamers. So I’m going to try and write a review that I would have appreciated when I went looking for my first HD flat screen monitor and wasn’t as experienced. First off the base is awesome. I have to give a little time to this. My primary monitor is a $500 4k beast, but it’s stand isn’t as nice lol. Sturdy, heavy and ability to move in near every conceivable direction. Love being able to tilt it forward or back and being able to rotate it from horizontal to vertical is pretty sweet. It made a very solid first impression right out of the box. This stand should be standard in the industry. Set up is easy as any monitor should be. I hooked it up with the included HDMI cable and fired up a few games. It performed very well. It may not be as sharp as my 4k screen, but its overall performance is very nice. Much better than my previous 2nd screen for around the same price. The color and sharpness are really good, though I did find myself adjusting the settings to find what I most preferred. I played around on some graphic intense games, zooming in and out, blowing things up, riding roller coasters around immense theme parks, and just all around having a good time. Very solid performance over all with no noticeable lag or tearing. All in all this is a really nice gaming monitor at a great price. I have to mention that stand again as I really love it! I am very happy with it and I would absolutely recommend this to a friend.

Great monitor. Purchased the 144hz first and definitely is still good quality. Using this one on the side to open any extra tabs while streaming.

Got this to use as a second monitor and it works perfectly. I use it vertically to fit on my desk and it’s exactly what I was looking for.

Clear and just the right size for my Xbox. You can catch everything instead of trying to figure out what part of the screen you need to focus on.

This ASUS gaming monitor is a great choice for anyone that wants a nice display for gaming, but is on a limited budget. The full HD picture quality is excellent, and the 75 Hz refresh rate is the minimum needed for gaming. Since this monitor is good for gaming, it is even better for everyday computing functions. The overall image quality of this monitor is excellent. The colors are accurate and vibrant. There are better looking gaming monitors out there, but definitely not at the price point of this ASUS. A high refresh rate is a must for gaming, but hardcore PC gamers will likely not be satisfied with the 75 Hz refresh rate, and will opt for a monitor with a higher refresh rate and higher cost. I am using this monitor for PC and PlayStation gaming and find that it performs well, with no noticeable lag. Even though this is a gaming monitor, it is very common for people to use displays for multiple functions, so I also used it to watch videos on Vudu, YouTube and Netflix. Video playback was excellent so this display can be easily used for gaming as well as everyday computing applications. This monitor is highly adjustable, and rotates from the standard horizontal orientation to a complete vertical orientation. I will likely not use it vertically, but it is a nice feature because you never know, and it could prove to be useful with some applications. This monitor is limited to 1 HDMI and 1 VGA input. VGA is so antiquated (I am not sure why it is even included) that most people likely will never use it. I would much prefer a second HDMI input, but one HDMI input will get the job done. If your video card has a DisplayPort output then an HDMI adapter cable can be used. There are no internal speakers, but there is a standard audio jack that can be used for headphones or speakers.

Easily installed. Very clear picture. the salesperson at the store was knowledgeable and did not steer me to buy something more expensive.

Good monitor i love it, wish it had a usb port but other than that works well for gaming needs
