The cheaper it is that’s how dead this monitor is.

if you are a console gamer or dont mind 60-75hz then this monitor is great. its not bad for nvidia graphics cards as well but I could not get the freesync to work. its for amd cards. a few complaints I have and why 4 stars. it lacks a higher refresh rate. now a days 120 or higher is starting to be the norm. I game on pc so that is nice to get. this would not be to much a issue for me if it had a higher resolution to make up for it. but its only a 1920x1080. for pc gaming. even if you cant always see more then 60fps or whatever they say, you can tell at times. and if not, game mechanics can. I still play at times a old game (call of duty 4) that has mods that require you to hit 125, 250, and 333 fps. so its nice to have a monitor that can also hit those to prevent screen tearing. outside of that, another issue I had, lack of instruction. I was playing with some of the settings like crosshair. once I had it on, I had a hard time to get it to turn off. some how I finally got it off and still dont know how I did it lol. outside of that. what I do love. I love that it can easily turn to go landscape or portrait mode. I love that it also easily turns side to side. I dont have a lot of space. so I have it on the side. and turned so its longways up and down. this blocks my way to my bed but when I am ready for bed, I then turn it. I use this either with my gaming pc when not streaming to show my discord on. or if streaming I use it for chat as my stream monitor is way up above me and can be hard to see chat or when someone chats. I also use it to travel with my laptop when I go to friends house to game. over all I do recommend especially for a console. has a 1ms response that I did enjoy. as my other monitor is a 240hz but when set to 1ms I would get a glow effect. I did not get that with this monitor. if pc gaming, still a great monitor. just know its only up to 75hz. for me its perfect because my gaming laptop is not the best now. so I use it with that, and when not, I have a spot that is easy to set up for it and I use with my stream or gaming pc.

The height adjustment alone made it worth buying as my desk is ancient and barely fits my office chair. The blue light filtering works well. Took about 10 mins to set up hook up and start working and gaming.

I've been looking for a gaming computer monitor that can keep up. I've got a pretty fast built by somebody else PC. SSD drive, i7 processor. And I can't even pronounce where my video card came from. Audio has never been terribly important to me but it's pretty good too. So my problem was trying to find a gaming monitor that can keep up. I believe I found it but this monitor. The HDMI setup was very easy. Also helps when you buy top shelf. I have hundreds of dollars in audio quest cables. They're not the only top shelf brand out there but they're the only one I trust. In conjunction with this gaming monitor the anti blur is all it's cracked up to be. Playing the new Mass effect The legendary edition on it again and it looks next level amazing.

Great size for gaming or streaming, doesn't take up much desk space.

The ASUS FreeSync Gaming Monitor is pretty good for a budget monitor. Response time is good, though I found on some very fast moving games there can be a little bit of tracing unless the refresh rate is set correctly. Color is excellent with deep blacks and vivid primary colors. Best feature is it not only tilts, it also swivels side to side. Would make an excellent secondary monitor. If you want the 75hz refresh, you may have to go into your settings, it's set to 60hz out of the box. My only realy gripe is it could use a second HDMI input instead of VGA (Does anyone still use VGA for gaming? If so, WHY) A second HDMI would allow it to do double duty with a gaming console, or even set top box. The audio output works well for headphones or speakers when the HDMI is used. Watching video or audio is satisfactory, as it is 1080p, don't expect 4k quality. Games like WoW show up really well, nice and crisp. If you;re on a budget and need a gaming monitor, it's be hard to pass this one up.

This Asus gaming monitor is a fairly decent display. Setup is pretty easy and I do like the fully adjustable base that will let you switch between landscape and portrait modes. Your connection choices are limited to VGA (does anyone really use that anymore?) and HDMI. Sadly there is no option for Display Port. No built in speakers which is fine by me as I prefer my Logitech speakers. And it's only a 1080p panel. I've grown so used to using a 4k display that going back to a 1080 display takes some getting used to. However the trade off of having a 1080 display is good in that you'll have some pretty wicked frame rates as your GPU will not have to work as hard to push as many pixels around. Games such as PUBG and GTA V look great. Colors are not as vivid as I would prefer but the non-glare display gets plenty bright. A decent display for what you are getting at this price point. Just don't expect your socks to be knocked off.

Not the best monitor for its price. I would definitely buy something else. It is still good but when I bought it, it was around $200. Definitely not worth that much. It Lasted me two years and now lines are appearing on the screens.

I bought this ASUS at a great sale price. I use it as a second monitor with my Chromebook and work PC for working at home—no issues great value when it's on sale.

I love this monitor i read the comments on it and alot of people dont realize that its a 144hz not a 75hz or whatever it is but my computer says its a 144hz

Would be a good 2nd monitor or main monitor if you dont care about high HZ display

Very good monitor, just had to get it exchanged for a new one at first because there were some issues with the screen menus popping up. Otherwise very good monitor.

Much brother brighter than previous projector. Like the remote zoom feature. Internal speaker sound is pretty bad, but there is a speaker out put port

These monitors are amazing! They look great and are able to be in so many different poses, while still being held in place well enough that a simple shake won't alter their perspective. My only reason for missing a star is being unable to get the built in speakers to work, no matter what I try. Could be a fault on my end, but after trying so many different "solutions" I don't think it is. Still, well worth the buy!

I have had this monitor for two years and it now has a horizontal line at the bottom of the screen so I can't see the menu bar.

We are using this ASUS in a dual monitor work station and its versatility meets all of our expectations.
