Please understand this monitor is a different model than the ones you have been watching on YouTube. In fact, there is only one video review that looks at this product without glossing over some of the caveats. I bought this product originally for the size and the refresh rate. 165hz at 27in for $320? $200 on Black Friday? Sounds skeptical. To begin with, do not forget that this monitor is FHD (1080p at 27in). The main problem—entirely unexpected for me—was the atrocious colors. Sure, I should have researched a bit more regarding the color, especially since I do a lot of photo editing on the side. But it isn't easy to when there is not enough information provided out there on this product. Out of the box, this thing looks disgusting. The presets are terrible and nowhere near what they are meant to be for. I recommend you find a color profile to activate for this product and then mess around with the display settings for about an hour and a half to get ACCEPTABLE color. My five-year-old VG248 was getting insanely better colors than this product. If you do not care about the color and just want the refresh rate and size for the price range, then consider getting it. Be wary of reviews and make sure you check for that letter at the end of the model on each review.

Monitor is used for gaming and office work. Got this two years ago and it still is working great!

great gaming monitor! purchased two of these because of high refresh rate and low price. a definitely a great buy. the adjustable height mechanism is one of the better ones out there. it's very solid and sturdy.

I guess this is an okay monitor on sale if you have few to compare it to. The positives are that the 165hz refresh rate is nice and I didn't notice ghosting with the image. Unfortunately, The colors are pretty average and underwhelming and the speakers that come with it are abysmal. I really think they would be better off not adding them, they're really that bad. It sounds like you're listening to it with water in your ears or something. And I personally think it's a big too big for 1080p which causes the sharpness of the image to suffer but that's not really the fault of ASUS, it's just hitting the limitation of 1080p resolution. Combining those 3 factors, I opted to return and continue looking. If you get on sale you might be able to accept some of its flaws. Full price I'd recommend to pass and look elsewhere.

This monitor is great. For being only 1080, it looks really good. I play mainly Warzone and it looks great on this monitor. Build quality also seems to be great for the price. Overall just a solid option that I’d highly recommend.

Amazing gaming monitor!!! after 2 years running like if it was new.

This monitor is ageless and very durable. I had this in my car on my way home and I got absolutely smoked by a drunk driver and the monitor did even have a scratch on it. My car was totalled though.
