    pay attention on the GPU wattage. buying a 3070 in this laptop might be the same as having a 3060 if not less. do your research first. clean laptop, but it will for sure bottle neck. i didn't open it and ended up returning the item. bought me a dell g5 instead.

    Asus products hold up really well. I still have a 7 year old Asus desktop that outperforms some of the laptops that I've used in the past. This gaming laptop has some very nice features that I can appreciate. 1. Graphics are top notch. 2. Keyboard is backlit. I like that the WASD keys are a different color and easily noticeable. I also like that I can switch the lights from static, to breathing, to strobe, etc. It's pretty cool. 3. Keyboard is quiet, but has the same type of feel as a mechanical keyboard. Very nice response. 4. The volume buttons are very easy to find at the top of the keyboard. 5. For the most part, the laptop itself is quiet. Sometimes gaming laptops have a loud fan and you can't adjust the fan settings. This one allows you to adjust the fan settings. So if you are playing games, adjust it to "Performance" and if you are browsing the web, adjust it to silent. Asus also has a whole program so you can look at the overall performance and customize settings. Now for some things I did not really like: 1. The scroll pad is not as responsive as I'd like. I only really use it when I'm web browsing but it gets a little annoying when I can't tap it hard enough to select something. The left and right click are ok but once again, not really as responsive as I'd like. 2. Battery life is ok but if you wanted to game for a while, you should be near an outlet. Most people that use gaming laptops for gaming are plugged in, but it would be nice to be able to game for more than a few hours without having to plug in. Overall this is a fantastic laptop for people who like to be able to customize their settings with ease for high performance. No matter what games you play, this laptop has your back.

    After 1 year and 1 month, the screen started failing with horizontal lines. If you unplug the laptop from the energy the screen get blank.

    Terrible performance, I returned it after a day. I have another laptop with a Ryzen 5900HS and a 3060 and it wiped the floor this laptop. The 3070 in this laptop is severely bottlenecked by the garbage i7 in this machine. I was having terrible stuttering in Apex legends and in other games. After running tests and benchmarks I discovered how terrible this i7 chip is for gaming. Do not but this laptop for gaming. If you really want to use it for office work/basic tasks then it would be fine. But there are way better options for the money.

    This is seriously the biggest let down for a gaming pc I have ever come across. It has no camera and the sound is absolutely terrible. Why put an amazing graphics card in the laptop but the customer can't hear anything or stream as they play. The sound is so bad that I cannot watch youtube without hooking up headphones because you can't hear anything even when you have the volume at Max. Disappointing at best, I'd have gladly paid more for a laptop that had a camera and better speakers

    Reall wasn't ehat I expected thus the return of this laptop, graphics were potato, the proccesor was not fit for the big 3080 gtx grpahics card. It wa sloke playing on mobile.

    BIOS issue

    Bios issue, would work for a day. after updating the bios the laptop kept crashing mid game. reset the laptop and reinstalled all window updates, drivers, and ASUS requirements and it did the same thing. I possibly just got a defected one but this issue was very frustrating.

    THERE IS NO 1080P 120HZ OUTPUT THROUGH HDMI

    This machine looks too good to be true for the specs and as someone who just returned his, is exactly that. This processor is locked incredibly low, and the HDMI WON’T OUTPUT 1080P 120HZ - this was after hours of troubleshooting and finally getting the answers from ASUS themselves that this model has a “limitation” whereby you cannot achieve 120hz through HDMI - Seriously - save a few hundred more and get something that not only has the newest hardware, but can perform the base functions that hardware is supposed to perform.

    Unfortunately, within 30 days the laptop started to lock up every other startup when powered on. Then became every time. Suspecting it was the integrated ram on the motherboard that can't be replaced on my own. Sad, because I've already owned 2 other ASUS laptops with no issues but old tech. This won't stop me from getting another ASUS laptop.

    Very bad buying experience

    It came to open box when I purchased it. As it was picked up on the curbside at the time, I didn’t have a proper place to open it for inspection,so a few days later, I found that a trace on its body which seemed to have been dropped. The traces have affected its performance and I'm pretty sure it was not what I did, then Ireturned it. I was charged $14.99 after checking by the clerk , I was very confused that.

    Great Midrange Gaming Laptop

    Easy setup out of the box. ASUS only installs its own software and overall its CPU usage is limited and its very easy to uninstall if required. Therefore setup was a piece of cake with some minor updates via the software for BIOS/Drivers required, so within about an hour you are fully updated and ready to game. The GPU for a Laptop has enough kick to allow you to game without issue at 1080p, esp. if you don't push RTX stuff too heavily as the max. power of the video card is only 85 watts I believe while the full desktop version consumes over 200+ watts, so you won't get 1:1 performance but still strong and I had no problem playing Hitman III/Division 2/Halo/Dead by Daylight/Immortals Fenyx Rising. It did it's job well, though when the laptop got warm from extended gaming the fans do ramp up and as expected are loud. Since I use headphones it wasn't too bad for me, but others in the room might notice. When I ran some benchmarks with 3DMark I saw temps get around 78C under max load which is more then acceptable for CPU/GPU but do highly recommend you play on a table with clear ventilation to keep it that way. The 240 Gsync IPS screen is very nice and helps remove the need for tearing and while I won't be doing pro color work the high refresh rate is awesome with the colors and viewing angles of an IPS panel. Only thing I plan to do at a later date is add an additional drive for games and increase the RAM to 32GB. Otherwise this should be a solid gaming laptop for you for a few years.

    Garbage. it ran for a day, then has had a black screen after login that I cannot fix. I am very fluent in computers and it is nothing simple. It's not hardware, but a strange interaction between the OS and the trash default programs that were pre-installed. It's bricked.
