    This isn't a RTX 3070, it's a 2070 S

I recently Went through Heck to get myself a 3080 for my home and another for my work computer and after doing so it makes sense why there's so much of a demand for them (plus their bitcoin mining capability). it's the largest performance bump we've gotten in 20 years as far as the difference from last gen to next gen. My desktop PC's with 3080's get around a 16,000 benchmark score on TimeSpy. Which is HUGE. (paired with I-9's) last gen it would've taken 2 2080's SLI'd with a decent CPU to get any score that high. now we're getting it with a single GPU. And in my experience the laptop versions of GPU's are just a smidge slower and weaker than their equivalently named desktop version, so even though i Had a nice Dell G-7 with a RTX 2070 I thought I'd get this and enjoy a nice performance bump since the 3070 is equal to a RTX 2080 TI 11 gig 1200-1500 price GPU. so having that in a laptop seemed like it'd be cool. unfortunately that's not what i got. This thing only benchmarks about 10% higher than my Dell G7 and the picture quality doesn't look as good when side by side. To be fair the unit is very compact and light making it easy to carry and it has a decent battery. I DO NOT suggest getting this as a replacement to any laptop with a RTX 20 series cuz you're not gonna get any noticeable increase. They really crapped the bed on the CPU's this generation, the 10th gen I-7 was a 8 core 16 thread which was much more powerful. 11th gen is lower wattage, but that's not my priority. I want performance. bottom line this isn't a 3070, and they shouldn't be able to call it one. I got mine as an open box and it is constantly crashing giving different error messages, so it's gotta go back. The odd thing is i don't want to replace it, if it's equal to my current laptop i my as well just continue to use my G7

Good, but not as good as I was hoping. Let me say, that for an ultra-thin laptop, it does exactly what it advertises. It has the components that it is supposed to to run as it should. To be fair, I can't say at the time when I bought it what exactly I was expecting... but for the dollar amount I paid for it, I did expect similar if not better performance than my PS5. I can definitely get similar performance, but I cannot rightly say that I can get better. The screen is FHD, which is fine for a screen this size. I would have preferred QHD, but the tradeoff is that you would pay more and get a lower refresh rate; something I thought would be acceptable at the time. In games such as the looter-shooter, I can run it at ultra settings and maintain a refresh generally at 60-70fps, and if I drop it down even with optimizations I still run around MAYBE 90-100 FPS. wouldn't be so bad, but my PS5 can do the same at 100-110 in the same resolution, and it would also add HDR to the equation. In fighting games, it holds a solid 60 FPS at the highest settings (I know, it is a PS4 game ported and improved upon, but it is still a very good experience even if the game is hard capped at 60). Storage is to be expected, and the 16GB of RAM is as well. If I could do it all over again, I probably would have went for the higher end model for the extra $300, and gotten the same core components at a higher power consumption (the power bottleneck is the primary issue with the Dash F15), higher resolution, and greater performance.

I bought my wife the M15 with the 2070 maxx q about a month ago due to her being pregnant and not being able to sit at the desk for long periods of time. Watching her relax and game in her recliner ignited my old love for laptop gaming. Of course with rtx 30- cards being nearly impossible to find, I was shocked to see this one(the Dash F15 is this one's model name) in stock with a 3070 laptop model gpu For the same price as the m15??? It was a no Brainer. The performed of this thing is outstanding. My desktop runs a watercooled asus strix 2080ti(I'm an asus fanboy by the way). My main goal was to be able to play Ark: Survival evolved on epic graphics and Cyberpunk 2077 with SOME form ray tracing. this machine crushes both of those. Sure it won't run cyberpunk on the highest settings ***it is a mobile gpu after all*** but it is more than playable and graphically beautiful. And all gets about 90 fps on full epic settings. The fans do get loud but that's expected in a gaming laptop. But the gpu never hits over 70 °c with a cooling pad underneath, and 77°C without one. The cpu pushes up to 85 °C without a cooling pad. With the cooling pad it sticks around 80°C. ***This is while playing titles such as ARK: survival evolved, cyberpunk and the Hitman series. ALL GPU/CPU HUNGRY GAMES*** Even with the 4 core/8 thread cpu that is the i7 11375h, it doesn't lack the power that the M15's 10750h which is 6 core/12 thread(i think that's the right model) I'm not an expert so I can't tell you why, but I can tell you the 2 less cores do not impede on gaming performance. I definitely recommend this as a great mid level gaming laptop, especially for the price tag(1449.00 when I purchased. ) it can go toe to toe with a rtx 2070 desktop gpu easily. If your in the market for an awesome portable gaming experience, BUY THIS LAPTOP NOW!!!

I would like to start with the fact that I am a “lite” gamer. I enjoy small games like Stardew Valley and 7 Days to Die. For me the laptop is perfect. It is easy to use and the graphics are really nice! I have also used for Call of Duty and it ran really well. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for a gaming laptop.

Performance wise - This is more like a slight upgrade from RTX 2070 and it is not at the same level as the other RTX 3070 on the market Since Asus focused on Power consumption. Therefore, The battery life is great and It is still a great choice for running all the demanding games in Ultra High and HD Resolution. Build Quality is very similar to last gen ROG laptops which is an upgrade. The only thing I wish was better is the blue/ white color of the WASD keys.

First I will start off by saying if you're one thing the most powerful laptop at the cheapest price this is not that laptop. It doesn't have a webcam, and asus did cut corners. Now that we got those out of the way overall it is an amazing laptop for the money I play a lot of games like Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, Forza Horizon 4, Battlefield 5 just to name a few. The build quality is on par or better than every other gaming laptop that I've had while being sleek and staying quite cool. With my unit in Call of Duty Black Ops on almost Max settings I was getting 75 FPS with Ray tracing in multiplayer. And it was also boosting the GPU to over 1800 Mhz. The screen is good for the money mainly because it is a very high refresh rate. I do not bottleneck at all in any game I play and can play it almost Max settings with decent FPS. I also do raw 4K video editing using DaVinci Resolve and it has never let me down. It even out performance my desktop with a ryzen 5 2600, 32 GB of RAM, and a 1070 TI that is boosted to 2200 Mhz. Overall I highly recommend this laptop the person who wants a thin and light laptop that can play a ton of games at almost Max settings.

This computer runs very hot. My son (paraplegic) had it resting on his leg and received 3rd degree burns. He has some very nasty scarring now. I bought him a cooling desk so he can sit in bed with the desk over his lap and laptop on that. This is dangerous how hot it gets. Cord and keyboard both stopped working after some time.

I have been using the computer for little over a week now and ill give it a 8.1/10. For a short review the battery life it great, decent build quality even though its plastic, the fans are loud but its kind of expected and my least favorite thing is the CPU bottle neck. 4 cores just do not cut it if your wanting to edit I would looking into something with a ryzen 9 instead.

Absolutely amazing gaming laptop, I have been able to run games such as Overwatch, Red Dead Redemption 2, Valheim, The Isle, and MANY other games at very decent frame rates! The screen size is very good, and the weight of the laptop isn't that heavy which means I have been able to easily stuff it into a backpack and bring it to my friend's places to game with them in the same room. This definitely does require a fan underneath, as does any kind of gaming laptop though. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to game on the go!

Great Mid Range gaming laptop. Excellent construction--feels solid but light. Awesome display, not quite bright enough to see well in direct sunlight like most in category. Excellent price/performance balance. Amazing cooling performance in this slim package, doesn't get as hot as most in category when gaming. Cooling fan noise is a quieter volume than other gaming laptops, but higher frequency more toward a whooshing/whistling sound on the spectrum and may bother some if not wearing headphones. Very little room underneath for air intake like most, so not able to place on a non-smooth surface when performance settings used. The W/S/A/D key transparent lighting and 3 white activity indicator lights above keyboard are brighter than they appear in pics, and some will love/some will hate. Strangely, Thunderbolt port is linked to integrated graphics and NOT the 3070 solution ( Only 60hz output from Integrated graphics ) so you can't get the good graphics performance on an external display nor will you want to use VR headset which was a dealbreaker for me and I returned it, or otherwise I'd have kept it. Also, it does NOT have an integrated webcam so external one is necessary. I'd recommend for anyone who doesn't mind the issues mentioned as the best price/performance combo for RTX3070 laptop category.

As many have already mentioned, the quad core is a bit of a bummer but I understand the reasoning (To save battery). The build quality is excellent, the max-q (80w) 3070 mobile GPU is excellent and very power efficient. Only thing I am running into is battery life is not matching up to what online reviewers have gotten. Sitting at my desktop with a word doc open, I am getting about 3-4 hours of battery life. YouTube reviews were stating they were getting anywhere from 5-15 hours. I have not gotten close to that.

This is my first gaming pc and I'm highly impressed with it so far! From the graphics to the lightweight design it's fantastic. The fans aren't that loud, but just wear some headphones while gaming. I run Destiny 2 with zero issues, even have Spotify playing in the background. I would highly recommend it.

I was time-constrained for this purchase, with my first choice - the Zephyrus G15 out of stock at the time, this was my immediate 30-- Geforce option. Coming from a similar sized MSI and then a heavy weight Alienware, this TUF Dash is very pleasant to be on the go with. The build looks and feels excellent. If you're reading this you already have, or should, look up the benchmarks. This is a lower TDP 3070, and the quad core Intel in will be limited in certain use-cases. For my purposes, those limitations are completely acceptable. This looks, feels, and so far operates like a quality machine.

This should be advertised as basically having a rtx 3060 as it is the low power 3070. However, this is a solid laptop! Great screen and it runs call of duty cold war on max settings with around 65-70 fps consistently on ultra settings with everything turned on! It is a little loud while gaming as expected, but is very quiet when doing normal things as it does switch to the internal gpu. Battery lasts a long time while just doing normal things but better be plugged in while doing any gaming! So far, I cannot complain about this laptop as it is way cheaper than any laptop with a 3070. Just be known, this is the low power gpu and I did know that before I purchased it. I would recommend it to a friend!

I had to go through 2 of these and returned them both. 1st one had a relatively minor defect. I probably could've worked with it, but it would've been annoying. And when you're paying $1500+ for a product, you want it to not have any defects. Anyways, the 't' key was defective on this laptop. Returned it the next day and best buy customer service was actually really nice and fast with replacing the laptop by priority mail for free for me. Unfortunately for best buy, another problem arose. 2nd laptop's screen was DOA. Unfortunately had to return this one, too. There were no more Asus Tuf Dash's to exchange for in store or online so I just went through with a full return. It's unfortunate because the laptop was everything I wanted in a nice size, great keyboard (except the defective key), and all the features I was looking for in a streamlined gaming laptop with a 3070 in it. For what I worked with of the 1st laptop with the defective key. It worked smoothly. Ran all of my games with no hitches. I would give more in-depth specs, but I didn't really record them since both laptops were returned within a day or the same day I got them.

Good laptop return plenty of graphic performance, and with the ssd it feels very peppy. Unfortunately the keyboard defaults to a strobe effect whenever it is starting up, and even in sleep mode (don't leave the screen open at night). With the green keyboard strobing, it was hard to look at when typing in my password to login each time (physically hard to look at). The strobe can only be changed to a slower flashing or static once you're in to windows and will reset when the computer resets. There is no way per the manufacturer to change this behavior.

It seems as if this is an art display. One thing it could improve is the heat dissipation could use some additional fan. Overall, I would buy it and recommend to anyone

I wont go into great detail just because several people have already said what I would say. Pros: 1. Super Fast! Faster than my O'l RTX 2070!!!! 2. Compact, Thin and Light 3. 11th Gen Quad Core Power that Feels like a 10th Gen 5 core 10600K Processor 4. Great battery life 5. 240Hz Monitor / Added my 27" 240Hz External Monitor 1920x1080 and it is beautiful. 6. Best Part, I saved for last.......in this day when GPU's are hard to get, the PRICE is worth it!!! Cons: 1. Get's hot. 73-76C While playing Call of Duty WarZone 1920x1080 @ Max Settings while getting 105-110 FPS 2. No webcam 3. Keyboard is kinda weird to game on. I bought this to replace my desktop PC so I can put my 2080Ti in my mining rig. It will do just fine. Make sure you find a good heating pad to cool off the laptop. Don't go cheap either.

The laptop is good for the price, can run all the newer games on ultra settings with no trouble. The only cons I have found so far speakers are kind of quite, I have another laptop that seems louder on 40 than this laptop with sound all the way up. And second con is I've found it randomly freezes some times doing random tasks, it eventually corrects itself but again I have a older gaming laptop and have never known it to freeze on minor tasks. Other than that laptop is good, for price.
