Awesome gaming laptop. Plays assassins creed Valhalla on Max settings. I will never let it go. I take it everywhere with me. Better than trying to by the rtx 3070 for over priced rates. Will worry about building a gaming desktop when they decide to produce more graphics cards.

I love my laptop, especially the light up keyboard and graphics quality. Definitely recommend. I was originally looking for a desktop, but this one caught my eye and piqued my interest, totally glad I bought it.

Runs cool with great battery life. It's not the most powerful gaming laptop but you can play everything on high. This is an ultralight thin very portable and capable machine. The power brick is tiny and charges quickly. Had to reinstall drivers for Nvidia.

The performance of this laptop is great. Runs my games at full settings (when optimized for the 3070 chipset) and I can work on it with no problems. Only down side is that the fan on the laptop is extremely loud and runs almost constantly while playing games.

Very good laptop, above average screen, decent power sipping CPU, okay GPU. There are 2 issue I would take into account when considering purchasing this laptop: The thermal solution is inadequate for the CPU, I ran into throttling numerous times while gaming or doing rendering workloads. Unfortunate, as ASUS laptops are clearly better than every other brand 90% of the time. I was somewhat able to mitigate the throttling issue with a top-tier thermal compound, but this laptop should have came this way from the factiory, and I still had an occasional throttle, unless undervolting with throttlesop, which completely resolved the throttling issue. Secondly, the 3070 GPU in this laptop is the lowest wattage tier version, essentionally right above a max-q variant. Which is fine, considering the dimensions of this laptop being thin and light, but don't expect this 3070 to perform anywhere near the higher powered variants of other models, it is at least 15% slower/less powerful that a "real" laptop 3070. I would put it at about the performance of a full wattage 3060. This is a very nice laptop, despite the shortcomings.

This is a powerful laptop! It can keep up with some high demand processing and graphic hevy processing as well. Fans definitely can get a little loud, but should be expected on a performace pc that is this thin, in my opinion.

Awesome. The green backlighting on the keyboard i really cool. I am very impressed with how rich and vibrant the graphics are. The RTX 3070 runs very fast. It boots up easily and the games run smooth. I don’t have any lag. It definitely has enough power to allow me to be competitive when playing against others. Nice job Asus!

Oculus Quest 2 works, but if on battery power, lasts about thirty minutes, so use the power adapter. HP Reverb G2, does not work at all. Link to troubleshooting progress with ASUS on the Reverb G2: https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/45865/dash-f15-not-working-with-hp-reverb-g2-vertical-bars/p1 Please post your own experience with the G2. The notebook hardware specs checks all of the Microsoft boxes for Mixed Reality, then add the notebook description stating it works with Windows Mixed Reality really puts the expectation very high that it should work with the only consumer level Mixed Reality headset that Microsoft is selling when this notebook was released. Outside of Windows Mixed Reality, it works great.

The first thing I want to say about this laptop is, if your buying to game it plays Red Dead Redemption 2 @ 2k (not ultra) which is a very visually intensive game and hard on your resources and even though this systems rtx3070 isn't fully powered it's only getting about 85 watts power supplied to it, it won't perform as well as like an alienware which gets 125 - 150 watts and the speakers are substandard my samsung s10+ is louder and theres is a chronic problem with the sound card drivers and logitech GHub software if you don't use the feature rich GHub software they'll mostly work after 4 calls to asus and 1 logitech 3 different models g930, g933, pro-x no resolution so I'm returning this laptop.

Despite the minor audio driver conflict with my Astro A50's I'm going to give a 5*. For any one else who may have this issue the Intel USB drivers need to go, if not you may have the same issue I had. To remove them I did have to remove the Armoury Crate as it seemed to be reinstalling them on its own. Other then that the laptop is fantastic and I am very pleased. It has power (for a laptop), it's fast, and it looks great. For the price point and power this puts out it's probsbly one of the best buys out there currently for a gaming laptop.

An overall solid system that comes with a 240 hertz monitor, 1TB storage with another available m.2 slot, and a mobile 3070 graphics. The appearance is very pleasant to look at with it's nice and sleek design that isn't overly "gamery". The system does come with its issues in 8gb of soldered ram, making it harder to expand memory with full dual channel memory, and the processor only has 4 cores that can affect gaming in newer titles and performance in other tasks with heavier workloads. For most people this won't affect there experience, but people who want to perform tasks that require more resources with see a difference in performance in this system with others, I would've liked to see at least a six core processor.

The Asus TUF is a 15.6”, well-built, thin and light weight gaming laptop with a low power Nvidia RTX3070 GPU and a low power Intel 11th generation, i7 CPU, that provides more than all day battery use when performing web surfing, writing, and other general tasks. It is capable of being your everyday all purpose computer when on battery and a high level gaming or VR machine when plugged in. Other useful features include a beautiful 240Hz, 3ms monitor with adaptive sync, a Thunderbolt 4 port, and the ability to charge the laptop with a usb charger. Because the TUF uses a low power GPU and CPU, its performance in high level games and other intensive tasks may be below other 3070 laptops that are higher powered. This does not mean that the TUF performs poorly in high level gaming, just that some settings may have to be reduced to maximize frame rate and that it may not be ideal for complex content creation. Of course, the tradeoff is that the TUF gains very long battery life. In my testing, the TUF performed roughly equivalent to a 2070 Super when gaming and using VR. Below you will see some benchmark results for the Turbo mode. The TUF performed well with Steam and with my Oculus Quest 2 using both Oculus Link and Virtual Desktop. When not gaming, the TUF provided about 10 hours of battery life for general usage in the Silent mode with the brighness around 60% and battery saver on. I also tested the Thunderbolt 4 port with a Sabrent Thunderbolt external enclosure and a 1TB WD NVMe SSD. Performance was as expected thus allowing the addition of high speed external storage. Heaven 4.0 (basic preset, windowed) 5717 overall score 226.6 ave. fps 3dMark (Time Spy) 7726 overall score Steam VR Performance Test 11 overall score (highest) No dropped frames Superposition Benchmark (1080p, high) 12051 overall score PCMark 10 5806 overall score If you are looking for a high quality, thin and light laptop that can play all current AAA games and with its long battery life, function as your daily driver for school, work, or, pleasure, then the TUF is an excellent choice. However, if you solely play AAA games at the highest settings and only do complex video editing and content creation, then there may be better choices. (Please note that the TUF does not have a web cam.)

I ordered this ASUS TUF DASH after returning a Dell AlienWare gaming laptop that was junk. This laptop booted up quick, every game I downloaded ran perfectly even my old copy of Call of Duty World at War. This laptop loaded the game and ran it no problem. The newer games are sharp and clear. In the time I’ve had it I maxed out it’s ram and added another 3 TB hard drive 1 TB is to small for a gaming laptop. Basically I got a better Laptop than a Dell AlienWare for almost twice the price. I maxed it out for less than a Dell.

Everything running great so far. Flight simulator running smooth at 1440p connected to my qled 65" (and added ram). Great value for the price, if you can handle the fan noise every gaming laptop makes when the recent graphical power is needed. Older lighter games and emulators can run on silent mode. One setback is that I can only upgrade to 24gb ram. The machine has 2 sticks of 8gb ram, but only one is easily accessible to replace (just unscrew the bottom for access). And good luck finding ddr4 3200 laptop ram. Not on the site as of now.
