I purchased the ASUS TUF 505DU for a lower range budget gaming laptop to use. Overall... I'm happy with my purchase. Would recommend the 505 DU to anyone on a budget who wants some FHD performance at a good price. Pros: - 120mhz Display makes for some nice visuals - good overall 1080 FHD display - Easily upgradeable with two drives for plenty of storage - stocked with 16gb RAM and expandable to 32gb RAM - Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti GPU - Good over all performance and frame rates. Cons: - no display port to carry over the 120hz display as it is stuck at the hdmi's 60mhz limit. - no sd card reader or type c ports - Fan blows hot air on right side continuously while gaming which can be quite annoying - while the laptop stays cool with daily internet and productivity computer tasks it can get very hot underneath and blow hot air out the right side of the laptop when gaming. - No Nvidia RTX Ray Tracing Capability.

Knew as soon as I pulled it out of the box that it was tailor made for me. The visuals on every game that I've played on it definitely leave me satisfied. Runs the Halo: MCC very well on high settings. Can get a little hot on bottom, but shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't play it on top of a rug or blanket or anything, including extensive use. For those concerned about the RGB keyboard, yes, it is always color changing straight out of the box. The way that you control this is by using a Store app called TUF Aura Core which lets you set it to a solid color of your choice. Recommended for anyone in the market for a gaming laptop with very good specs.

The speed and storage is fantastic. The NVIDIA card wants to update pretty much every day so far, and video gets glitchy if you don't restart. The internal speakers are pretty terrible, so some sort of external speaker is almost a must. Other than that it runs like a beast.

Bought this laptop as a daily driver for when i'm not at home or when i just want to sit on my couch and relax away from my desk when i get tried of sitting there. The laptop is amazing it does everything i want it to do and more. The only problem i have with this laptop is that the battery life from full to drained is pretty bad like 2 hours if you are gaming on it, watching youtube,playing 2d games or just chatting to your friends on Discord or Teamspeak will get you like 3-4 hours. I do recommend making sure you keep it plugged in while gaming. The games i've played the most on this laptop is as follows and they get really well frames anywhere from 60-120+ with High-Ultra. Star Wars Battlefront 2 Battlefield 5 Apex Legends Escape from Tarkov Red Dead 2 ( needed to really mess with the settings on here so it was a mix of Medium,High and Ultra) CSGO Gears 5 Halo Reach (Steam version) Call of Duty Modern Warfare (2019) GTA5 Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order.

Lightweight, fast and excellent keyboard. I bought another ASUS because my last one lasted 6-7 years with daily use and abuse (took a glass of wine to the keyboard). The hinge finally started wearing out so I found this one. No real complaints. Screen is sharp and size is just right. Feels sturdy as well.

The screen resolution is very clear and the speed is good. I mostly use it for work therefore cannot attest for the gaming yet. I do a lot of data analyzing so it does require quite a bit of speed and this laptop does the job. The screen is the perfect size for utilizing multiple tabs and still be able to view what I need. Even when I work all day, the internal fan does a great job of keeping the laptop closed. The one thing I do not like and will need to fix is the screen keeps randomly flickering black.

Perfect computer for my son to enjoy gaming anytime, anywhere. Had everything he needed and it's still going strong for him. It was also a terrific price.

This laptop looks and feels great! Feels extra durable but not cumbersome or heavy. Extra snappy and absolutely ecstatic about this purchase. Easiest decision I've ever made :)

Very good graphics for gaming. Also used for remote learning and work. Easy to set up- would purchase again!

Battery life is a little lackluster. But the laptop is overall great. Hopefully it runs as long as my Mac did.

I can play arma 3 on ultra settings with visibility on max that should say enough about how good this lil labtop is

Very excellent laptop. My only issue is that the SSD is actually 931GB and the HDD is only 237GB. Totally the opposite of what I expected it to be listed in the description, but it's fine considering everything else seems to be what I wanted.
