The machine is solid. I personally didn't need the power of this device for the jobs I'm doing with it, but having that wiggle room, with regard to specs, is very nice. It boots quickly and and programs start promptly.

Plays the games id hope it would smoothly. Osrs with HD plug in, sea of thieves, weed shop 3, and subnautica. Battery life is about 2 hrs if youre gaming. Use it plugged in

This laptop exceeds my expectations. I had low expectations of the 3050ti BUT this laptop has a 144hz refresh rate, 1080p and 17.3" which is perfect for this laptop and size. I'm able to play all my games at over 60fps on ultra and high settings. This should last me several years and if you buy it, take good care of it. Temps are good but sometimes heat dissipation gets a bit hot but I rarely see the laptop go over 80c. Extreme gaming sessions, Temps are between 55-75c. Which is awesome but expected for a gaming laptop. Other gaming laptops cool better than this TUF laptop but I'll take what I have because it suits my needs. Make sure when gaming That the laptop sits on a flat solid surface to keep the bottom panel to breathe and keep the intake air flow well ventilated. If it's not ventilated, your laptop will 100% overheat and you will melt your motherboard. That, it will just shutdown. And overheat components that you don't want to get too much heat. Overall, this was a good investment and ideal for gaming on the go wherever your body veggies. Only con is 8GB RAM. You can upgrade easily.

Excellent gaming laptop for the price. Loads up fast and the graphics look great. Has slots to upgrade RAM and add an extra SSD. Very happy with this one!

Got this on sale when our PC crapped out. Huge upgrade! This on actually has a graphics card

This Laptop is a perfect choice for beginners not only can you use it to play other games on it such as Xbox and steam but you can also do editing and photograph editing as well

Overall this laptop has been great for what I need it for. Has potential for gaming and getting all my future school work done. For the price it was wlreally hard to beat. Highly recommend.

Wonderful laptop, but terrible battery life! Dies in like 20 minutes even when it was brand new. The only way to use the laptop is to plug it in. Should’ve taken it back but missed the opportunity window.

Just did a ram upgrade today and a ssd , added G.Skill Ripjaw 32G (16x2) look up YouTube. Has plenty of friendly user friendly videos on how to upgrade.

This is great laptop it has treated me great so far. It handles gaming I would say pretty well.

I would say that it's not the best but it's not the worst.

I have a gaming PC, but wanted something that I could bring with me when I'm traveling. This is a pretty decent gaming laptop, and buying it on sale for $850 made it well worth the money. I gave it an extra 8GB RAM for a total of 16, and it plays my games very well - but I don't typically play anything more demanding than FFXIV, so results will vary. It gets hot, but never dangerously so. The monitor refresh rate is fantastic, but the display is a bit dim and the colours are not very rich, so it's not the best if you're looking for something to do any image/video editing. Overall, I'd say it's worth the price on sale, especially if you're willing to at least double the RAM.

This was the second laptop my son purchased to go with the Oculus Quest VR headset. Even though I was told during a "chat" that it was "VR ready" it didn't work well with the Oculus Quest VR headset. My son purchased the Oculus cable to connect this laptop to the VR headset but the game was still jerky when he tried to play it on the headset. It is a large laptop and the games that he downloaded from STEAM worked well on the laptop but not on the headset. We returned it to Best Buy.

Great laptop for the money. Pretty light for its size, awesome specs! I got this for my daughter to game on as her first actual gaming laptop. I am so pleased, I wish that they would bring it back, I would buy a few more of these to flip on facebook market place.
