Cousin loved it

It runs well and for what she does on it 8gb or ram is enough, if you would want to be running multiple applications i would suggest looking for something with more storage and more ram.

I have used it for just surfing the web and email, videos and I have used it for online MMO gaming and simple online solitaire games and the graphics are outstanding. Plus the 17" is the best!

She likes everything about it. The size, the speed, the lighted keyboard and the overall appearance are very good qualities. She is very satisfied with this gift.

Boots up fast and lightening fast response times. Last laptop was also a 17.3" Asus from 2010. Have not had any issues with Asus laptops.
