Overall this laptop is solid at the price point its at, good cpu, gpu and decent ram for what its intented for, im currently using this for coding and its great, and solid for gaming. Battery life is on the lower end but if you keep it plugged in its not an issue.

Great entry/value gaming laptop from Asus! (all of my testing/results were with turbo mode enabled) Pros: The 6800H is an extremely fast 8 core 16 thread part that will pull its weight in productivity and some photo/video work if needed, while being a top tier CPU to find in a gaming laptop at this price point. (It's held back by the single channel memory out of the box, I scored a 1501single/7307multi on Geekbench 5 and 1561single/9722multi once I added an extra 8gb to go dual channel. The CPU test on 3Dmark TimeSpy also increased ~17% from adding the extra ram) While the 3050ti isn't a top mobile GPU, Asus luckily gives it plenty of power to work with when turbo mode is enabled. Out of the box testing: 64FPS @ 1080p high on Borderlands 3 98FPS @ 1080p medium on Forza Horizon 5 6376 on 3DMark Timespy (6064 Graphics score) After adding 8GB of ram for dual channel: 72FPS @ 1080p high on Borderlands 3 107FPS @ 1080p medium on Forza Horizon 5 6504 on 3DMark Timespy (6093 Graphics score) Other thoughts: At this price point, the 1080p 144hz screen actually exceeded my expectations. I've used a couple competing companies gaming laptops in this class, and even an Asus from last year, and they all had terrible color/muted screens that never got very bright. This A15 exceeds those with color and brightness by a noticeably large amount.(not a high end display by any means, but easily good enough for gaming) The keyboard being full RGB is a nice touch, the key feel is great imo, while the chassis has little to no flex (which cannot be said about many other competing gaming laptops) Cons: The only gripe I have is the same I've had with other entry gaming laptops, and it is the unit being gimped from the factory with only single channel RAM (easily upgraded). AMD CPUs love memory bandwidth, and you'll notice an FPS difference in games that are CPU bound or use more CPU if you add another 8GB stick to get dual channel.

Nice unit! Upgraded the RAM to 32gb. Plays xbox gamepass games very well both cloud and installed. Including BF2042. Had to change a Win11 setting to use the Radeon graphics driver rather than the generic Microsoft driver that Microsoft installed when it updated. Plenty of online writeups about it. Other that that, this thing works great! I've only used it plugged into the wall. I have no experience with battery life.

I have had this ASUS TUF Gaming laptop for a week and a half and I absolutely love it. I will spare you all the technical details of this gaming laptop because you can see those on the Best Buy website under the product overview and specifications. What I will talk about are what I think are the realistic highlights of this gaming laptop. The first thing you will notice when you take it out of the box is how light weight it is. This ASUS is just under 5 pounds, so you will barely notice it when you are carrying it around. For a gaming laptop it is also super thin, under 1 inch. The second striking feature of this ASUS is how durable it is built. As you can see from some of the pictures, it isn't just durable, but it also has a nice rugged look to it with a gunmetal gray matte finish. Once you get this bad boy cranked up, the first thing that will catch your eye is how crisp the screen is. This is where the 15.6" FHD 144Hz display comes into play. Next you will notice how fast this laptop is. It starts up very quickly and connects very fast to the wifi. Sound on this laptop is decent, but who cares, anyone who is using this laptop will have their headset connect to this. The trackpad is also decent, but again not a problem, as most people will use their gaming mouse instead. This gaming laptop isn't meant to replace your gaming rig, it is meant to provide you with a portable option when you want to game, so if you look at it from that perspective, it is a very viable option. I have about an hour commute on the train, so I connect my wifi hotspot and game on my way to work and back. I also like to use it at home when I am in bed and that is when the RGB keyboard comes in handy or at the kitchen table. Overall, I am very please with this ASUS TUF gaming laptop and I would highly recommend it.

This laptop is an excellent value when it's on sale, though not so much when it's $1000. The included 8GB of memory is rather paltry and I bought an extra stick of RAM to bump it up to a more reasonable 16GB. The 512GB internal hard is on the small size and I augmented that with a 1TB drive in the extra M.2 slot. The hardest part was getting the bottom cover off and fortunately ASUS has excellent documentation on their website for this laptop. Aside from that, this is a super fast, quiet laptop with a good keyboard and trackpad. I installed Kubuntu Linux 22.04.1 on the laptop after disabling "secure boot" in the system UEFI settings. Works great and is *more* stable than the included Windows 11 operating system, which was crashing on me. I can dual-boot to Windows if I like, but I rarely have to. The only real downside for me is that the screen is too dim in a daylight setting. That's it. Otherwise this is a prince of a machine, really happy to have it.

I had this Laptop since 12/27/2022, 5-6 Months by now, and i learned all the aspects of this laptop. By suprise the Price is really good for what it is packing, but for buyers looking at my Review, i would definetly reccommend buying an extra RAM stick. (8GB Preferred) 8GB of RAM isn’t great knowing how windows 11 already takes 55% of it, without an application open. Another warning i have is cooling issues. It is obvious all Gaming Laptops are prone to extreme heat (90 Degreees Celcius, and above) but this laptop has problems where it can damage the motherboard. I really reccommend having protection for this device. Aside from my 2 issues i have, the Laptop is extremely great for the price it has. The GPU and CPU are very good (In the future 4GB VRAM isn’t gonna be good actually) i really recommend a cooling pad if you decide to play games with high load on the system.

A nice set of equipment at an affordable price. It feels good to use. It basically drives most of the major games on the market. The look is cool, too.

Slim, lightweight, keys are comfortable but a little small in some parts. Has expansion slots for RAM and an NVMe drive. Would recommend.

The only thing wrong with the laptop out of the boz is that Ram, cones packed with 8gb or ddr5, which for light gaming will be just fine. But if you spend this kind of cash you want more, luckily it's super easy to upgrade, and ddr5 16gb and dual 32 are easy to come by. That's all it takes to turn if from a great device to an amazing one especially for the cost, if you find it on sale even better

This item is good for a casual gaming on the go. I was able to play any games I have on my Steam account. However, after few days of playing games, I felt the heat building up. Also, I recently found out that the screen was bowing, so when the lit closes, the side slightly bent upward.

For starters, i don't need insane resolutions or killer frame rates to play my games. So at $699 on sale, this was a bargain. As soon as I got this, i upgraded to 32gb of Crucial ddr5, and added a 2tb nvme drive for more storage. The difference from stock was enormous! Boot times of 6 seconds or less, and files open so much faster. The 3050ti card does a great job playing games (Doom Eternal, etc.) with high or better settings and better than 60fps, which is fine for a laptop. The keyboard has a great feel to it, and the TouchPad doesnt feel cheap. Overall, this has great build quality, and with a few upgrades, you'll be very happy with this laptop.

Amazing computer I use it to play Microsoft flight simulator, to use photoshop and premiere pro everything working perfect Btw I just upgrade the SSD and the Ram It comes with 500GB SSD and 8GB of Ram now I got 1TB SSD and 32GB of Ram The only thing is the battery capacity if you’re playing or working with heavy programs the battery dies so fast

This laptop is runs well, start up is fast, and it is a nice light weight laptop. Lots of space inside for some upgrades, such as a second Ram slot. I reccomend this laptop to anyone looking for a decent gaming laptop ( i would buy an extra ram if you want a faster load up and less lag)

Best laptop I’ve ever used in my life no complaints and works very fast works for everything I need and definitely build very strong!

The build quality is solid great keyboard and sturdy design would recommended.
