This laptop is great since I was always used to playing desktop my whole life I was used to having non-stop gaming but for this it died under 45 mins if you are playing a high end game which makes sense and it makes it feel like a time limit on yourself which is even better . For the specs they have great speeds even though I lower the specs down in the game just to save some ram from overheating it still runs and looks like the game isn't even lowered down to fit that standard.

Bought this for my wife. This is a decent entry to midrange gaming laptop. Good performance but doesn’t last long on battery mode when playing games. She plays The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, Towers of Aghasba, Prologue Go Way Back! for example and they run well. I upgraded the memory from 16 GB to 24 GB right before RAM prices went crazy. I got this laptop on sale for around $799. This is a good laptop. You rarely can go wrong purchasing an Asus gaming laptop or gaming desktop. They make solid products.

I strongly suggest taking a look at the ASUS A16 if you've been playing console games and are considering switching to the PC. When I found this treasure on sale at greatest Buy, I couldn't help but buy it after researching the greatest value and weighing it against building my own setup. Having used a laptop for work for the past year, I became accustomed to its general feel and how well it fit into my desk arrangement. Therefore, I knew I needed a gaming laptop that could provide power and performance without compromising on convenience when the time came.The ASUS A16 is now available.

Okay machine but has a RAM bottleneck right out of the box with only 16GB of RAM. That is just enough for office work under windows 11. I had to upgrade this machine to 32GB of RAM to make it functional as a reasonable high performance machine. (Max for the machine is 64 GB) This seems to be a running issue with most windows 11 machines. RAM that was factory installed was higher frequency than this machine can use. Factory installed is 5600 Mhz when max spec is 4800 Mhz. (System will automatically cap speed to 4800Mhz) (star removed for out of the box performance issue) Battery life is good for a high power machine and you can easily tune down the machine for battery life. Due to being a packet style battery, the smart charge function should be enabled as these batteries have the longest life when only charged to 80% As stated in the title, Best Buy is flat lying about the RGB keyboard. This model NEVER had an RGB keyboard and Best Buy made this false spec up and never fixed the issue of it falsely saying it has an RGB keyboard. Best Buy knowingly falsely advertised this laptop as this issue was brought up in the early reviews of this laptop. (Star deduction for false advertisement) This is a good machine to build off of but, I would expect to have to upgrade this out of the box. Keep that in mind if you are thinking about getting it. Never pay more than $800 for this unit. (Not worth it with the needed upgrades beyond that and it goes on sale regularly)

Why did Chuck Norris challenge his Asus gaming computer to a race? Because he heard it had a "Turbo" button, and he wanted to see if it could keep up with him! I’m here every Wednesday. lol I got this Asus gaming computer, and let me tell you, it's like no other computer I've ever had. It's seriously the best one out there. I'm so blown away by how fast and reliable it is that I've decided to stick with Asus from now on. Even though it's made for gaming, I use it for my business stuff, and it's a total game-changer. The processing power and all the fancy features have really stepped up my productivity game. It's like having the Chuck Norris of computers in my office. It's that good.

Great laptop, Temps are quite bearable, fans decently bearable, don’t even bother me since I wear earphones. Great performance, although the software for performance control is an absolute nightmare, sometimes games get locked at 60 fps for no reason, a quick fix i found was to install amd adrenalin and use hyperfx config, also cap your battery and 80% if its gonna be plugged in. Awesome keyboard, the screen gives me a very comfortable workstation vibe, good touchpad.

That laptop works super well, it has a texture that looks super strong and is super strong and resistant and works super fast, it's really worth buying it

Excellent laptop especially when on sale. I got it at $750 I believe. It's easily upgraded for an additional 2 hundred dollars or so to make it much more worth the sticker price. Double the ram and add an additional pcie 4.0 SSD and it will play any game on high settings. Max out the ram and it will do vr. The USB 4.0 slot doesn't work with thunderbolt though unfortunately. Everything else is great. Enjoy!

Still using it and running great, with no issues. Run games decent on ultra but high is recommended. Make sure you allow proper airflow for the bottom and back vents. If you dont have a mount or anything. You can use a book to put underneath the back of it and will provide plenty of clearance for the airflow to help dissipate the heat. It gets hot but for the price. You cant beat it. Only draw back would be battery life when hardcore gaming but that makes sense, just make sure to keep it plugged in.

I love this laptop. The graphics are great, and every game runs smoothly, from Palia to Call of Duty Black ops.

A good laptop for the price. Its not best of course but it runs all my games flawlessly with some reasonable frame rate changes. The only bad thing about the laptop is how loud the fan gets.

I have been LOVING this laptop!! It runs so fast and smoothly for all that I do on it. It even runs all my games that I like to play super smoothly also!! Such a great laptop! When gaming I have to keep it plugged in the whole time because the battery drains pretty fast. I wish the battery lasted long but that’s the only thing so far that I don’t like.

I really enjoy this gaming laptop, the graphics are great. I feel like for the price you can’t beat it. I play games like Fortnite, COD, CSGO, etc. and I haven’t had any issues. It runs really smoothly. My only complaint is I had issues with charging/motherboard but they ordered me a replacement with no hesitation because I have the Best Buy membership. However I did buy it open box.

I purchased the ASUS - TUF Gaming A16 16" 165Hz Gaming Laptop FHD-AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS with 16GB DDR5 Memory- Radeon RX7700S 512GB PCIe SSD - Off Black in February 2025. The screen is so clear, and the keyboard has a great back light. The games I've played are way better than any other gaming pc. Great product, great service, great experience.

looks is good its a aesthetic style and for gaming the quality is also good the display and performance for games is actually good it gives me satisfaction that I want for my gaming like the good fps. Overall rating is 10/10, I can recommend this type of gaming laptop to everyone who wants to save money but still get the quality that they want for gaming.

Well I got this computer at Frederick MD Best buy and I was supposed to get the g16 and the guy gave me the a16 i didnt knew i was in a hurry cus im a truck driver but when i opened i knew he gave the wrong one but no time to go back i thinck g16 its better but this one does the job is good i recomended, playing tome rider runs smood and its quiet
