I would recommend this to a friendSpecs good, screen not so much.

But for me, the screen was almost unusable, any slight angle from direct causes it to wash out immediately.

Excellent laptop with minor issue

Laptop is very fast with those specs. Only reason I returned was due to the lack of a backlit keyboard. Great deal on Open box item.

I researched several and had an idea of what I wanted. The sales associate listened to my requirements and showed me several options. By far this laptop seemed to have everything I wanted and was reasonably priced. I got it home, transferred everything from my old laptop very quickly and have been more than satisfied by the speed and quality of this product.

I made the switch from apple to this and it's pretty good so far. It doesn't sound like it's about to take off and doesn't get hot much. Easy to maneuver through and gets the job done for turning in assignments and such. Would recommend. It has a lot of memory which is a must.

I love the size of the screen, and the built-in number pad is actually really nice to have. Some people may think it’s unnecessary, but if you work with numbers, it comes in handy. I like that it’s integrated, so there’s no need for an external number pad. The performance is solid for an everyday laptop. Intel Iris graphics are okay for light strategy games and casual gaming. That said, the display ended up being a letdown. It’s very hard to find and maintain a viewing angle where the screen looks good. Unfortunately, because of this, I can’t really recommend it unless you mostly use the laptop connected to an external monitor.
