Not a great laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When it worked, it worked fine. It always seemed a little buggy. I would often have the audio adapter crap out on me and have to restart the device. Twice it completely shut down while plugged into a wall outlet. First time in December 2018, and I took it to Best Buy for service. The protection plan covered the replacement of the Top Case monitor. Still a bit buggy and wonky when I got it back at the end of January 2019. Just recently the same problem occurred. Using the laptop while plugged on to AC power, watching a movie and the device completely shut down. Would not power on. Took it to Best Buy again for service, now suspecting that I have a lemon. Turns out, it was a lemon. Best Buy was kind enough to declare it a junk out and refunded my purchase price back. Put that towards another laptop (different brand). So happy I purchased the protection plan which covered the service. Not a good device, but it happens. Thank you Best Buy for being so helpful with all my dealings regarding this laptop!
