i got this as a lot of what i saw in my price range ether has a duel core at 1.6 Ghz or at 2.2 Ghz with little ram in them. this was far better then them but the only issues i have with this is the keys are hard to see in low light as the letters seem to disappear and it would be nice if the letters were darker to be seen and/or backlit. as well as the deck of the keys flex to much would of been better if the frame was metal as that might make it stiffer and a little better to use. other then that is works for everyday use but i would not use it with games that use a lot of resources as the fan gets very loud.

So far so good. Laptop's been fast from set up til now, and I've had no problems with it.

Major issue with the keyboard, the letters are so faint they are difficult to read. I knew it wasn't back-lit but expected the letters to be legible.

Bought for my wife who said the speed is awesome and the quality is fantastic.

First time using a non-intel processor laptop. Very fast. I opted for an AMD processor because obviously is cheaper than Intel. Greatly surprised. I will no longer doubt about getting another AMD processor laptop or desktop. Really fast. The screen of the ASUS is great; great colors and sharp images. Love the size for a home computer.

This laptop is a great desktop replacement. Runs everything without a hitch. Gaming (FORTNITE) is a breeze. Internet access will run the max available if hardwired and up to 400Mbps if through WiFi. Colors are crisp and clear. Video viewing is a snap! Worth every penny in the Sub $700 category

This is a necessary replacement for a nearly identical ASUS that began to die, hardware-wise, after 10 years of hard use. The most appealing points of the unit are its brilliant color rendition and rapid hard-drive response. The only disconcerting issue is the trackpad, which lacks the left and right buttons I am accustomed to.
