Customers value the Vivobook's large screen size, affordable price, and easy-to-use interface. However, they criticize its keyboard's poor visibility, short battery life, and difficult-to-see keys.

Large screen, great price, and easy to use especially after Geek Squad set it up for me (: only thing is the battery life isn’t that long.

Good laptop for school or office work. Screen is not that good. High memory and just fast enough to breeze to light tasks.

Overall good value for the machine. Would definitely purchase again. Only problem the letters on the keys are a bit hard to see.

Amazing laptop, I brought this for personal use and it has been wonders. It easy to set up, easy to carry around and easy to use. The laptop with the price is especially amazing, no problem so far.

This laptop should have a keyboard backlight. It’s extremely difficult to see the keys, unless you’re in super bright lighting. The battery life is pretty bad. Overall, the huge screen is great for coding and having multiple virtual machines up. The storage is amazing as well. Definitely an upgrade from my Lenovo flex 11!

A great computer that does what you need it too. It's not over priced like apple. I'm happy with this purchase.

Purchased as a gift for my wife. She loves the big screen and the overall speed of the laptop.
Thanks to Best Buy associate who convinced me spending a little more for a far superior laptop was the right choice.

I would have given this a five star rating, but the letters on the keys are very hard to see. And this does not bother me, because, I use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
I like the large screen and the speed of the Ryzen 7.
I also liked, that it's not full of bloatware.
So far it has done everything asked of it.

This is a great, fantastic, powerful laptop. We got it on sale and for the money you won't find a better laptop in terms of performance and quality. My only issue is the visibility of the letters on the keyboard. I've dealt with ASUS laptops before and this silver/silver keyboard has been a problem in the past. I thought this specific laptop had the backlight since one of the photos shows the backlight logo on the F7 key. Still happy and we'll deal with the issue.

I needed to replace my laptop. Available stock was limited. A sales associate showed me the Asus. I checked with the Geek Squad, who agreed it was a good product and an upgrade from my last laptop. I've seen reviews complaining the keys are hard to see. I have no problem and like the touch of the keyboard. The only thing I don't like is that the Home, PgUp, PgDn, and End keys are in the number pad and have to be unlocked every time you want to use them.

I really love this laptop. The screen size is perfect. The keyboard print should have been a contrasting color but it works well if you've had a keyboarding class. I would definitely recommend this laptop.

This was highly recommended to me by my computer service. I found it easy to use and happy with the size and style.
The only thing that was a big miss for me was the silver on silver keyboard and it is not backlit. Who thought that was a good idea? I bought stick on keyboard letters and numbers at Amazon so I could see the keyboard. That worked!

Great laptop so far, but silver letters on silver keyboard is a poor design. Have to use a second keyboard for best results. I originally thought it was back lit. Bought it on sale, so price was good.

This was my first time trying Asus, and so far I haven't been disappointed yet. The quality is really nice, and both the sound and display is solid. Of course you have to adjust your settings to your personal tastes (and ensure you have the latest updates installed, especially for the drivers), but overall it's a very good unit. The specs are incredible for a laptop of this price range. It's not exactly a gaming laptop, but I was able to play StarCraft II on ultra/extreme settings with little difficulty (keep in mind it's a 10 year old game now). I'm not sure about new/newer video games but I assume they can probably be run on medium-ish settings.
The only real complaints I have are that the power cord that comes with it is a little bit too short of length for my personal taste, and the included 12GB of RAM cannot be upgraded (the RAM that is already included is great for most applications anyway).

Only complaint is the keyboard, you have to be looking at it just right to see the letters which are a light silver. When the light hits the keys, the letters are invisible which is slightly annoying to me while I get used to a smaller keyboard compared to what I've had in the past. Computer itself runs well, starts up pretty quick. works just fine for the little things I do.
