The good is it is easy to see. The negative is it is bigger than most protective laptop bags. It was an incredible value. It is a little slow to boot up but that is a problem with my back up settings.

I use this for work and personal, and it's a workhorse! Screen size is used well. Really good keyboard. LOVE that it has the numbered keypad as well, something many laptops just don't have room for. If you have to look at the keyboard though, this will be hard for you at night. It doesn't light up, and the lettering is hard to see in dark environments. Would have preferred it not start in S mode out of the box, but that's an easy fix. Video is good, though the built-in camera is meh. Sound is decent, though typical is a little underwhelming in certain environments. Very responsive. Battery is good for about 5ish hours. Connects easily to other devices. If I have one thing I really wish was included, it would be that this unit should have a touch screen. Not a deal breaker though.

I regret not finding one with a lighted key board, but for the price I'm happy. Disappointed that i cant register it without a bunch of crap having to agree with so i passed on that.

I bought it late last year and over that span of time I had to do several *factory* resets after it became super slow and unusable. No amount of troubleshooting could fix it. Finally, I gave up and turned it into a Linux/Ubuntu machine. It's usable now but barely tolerable because it's not a fast machine with poor quality display and hard-to-see keyboard letters (as expected for the low price point). I'll soon be replacing the slow HDD with an SSD. I might as well increase DRAM size while at it. Stay away from this unless you want to risk a similar experience.

Great Value For Open Box

Lack of backlit keyboard was more of an issue than I expected, but that's my fault for not looking into it. Only issue I've run into is my Google Chrome will stay basically unusable if I have had any video editing software open. Even after I close the software, I have to restart the laptop to get Chrome to work. After that, though, it works great.
