I can get work done, with no issues. However, I would have gave 5 stars, but this laptop constantly updates, which is a pain . Though I haven't lost any information, seeing that maybe 2-3 times a day, I have to go through an update of some kind. With my HP laptop, I really never had this issue, maybe it has something to do with Windows 11, which I really don't like. I have not decided if I am going to keep this laptop, or get something that I am more familiar with. We shall see.

After the updates the new laptop moved extremely slow and needed to run web browsers or programs for a while before it moved a little faster. Oddly too wide and won’t fit in some book bags or laptop bags.

Having a backup computer while working from home is always a good idea and the price at Best Buy was amazing. I am beyond happy with this computer! Runs smoothly, handles all my work and personal needs, and upgraded to Windows 11 as soon as I powered it up the first time! My only "criticism" is that the keys are etched with no backlight. It makes it difficult to see the keys - which is sometimes necessary. I highly recommend this computer!

With the pre-installed HDD this thing is easily a 1/5 rating. With the HDD that comes installed doing anything on this laptop is a slow and painful experience that makes you feel like you're using a cheap netbook from 8 years ago. I have NEVER seen a cpu held back by hard drive speeds like this before. Adding an NVME SSD and installing Windows 10 instead of the slower Windows 11 has this thing finally feeling like a quality laptop. So yeah, if you're comfortable with a little tinkering it's not a bad deal if you can grab it on sale. But if you don't want to open up your brand new laptop to install some upgrades then stay far away from this laptop.

Overall, the computer was easy to set up and has performed okay. Only negative is one that I saw in reviews prior to purchase and that is the keyboard is hard to read especially in dim lighting.

We certainly understand your concern regarding the short battery charged life. In order to improve or prolong the battery charged time, please try to do a battery calibration manually. To start with, please drain it completely then charge it fully without using the system. Once fully-charged, please use the system, without the AC adapter connected, and drain it completely again. Please repeat the charging process thereafter. Also, please verify if the unit is running with the most current system update and third-party battery draining applications are not running if not in used.
