Only issue is I was watching a movies and paused to leave the room. When I got back it turned off and was frozen when I turned the screen back on. But, it was trying to update and maybe it was too much going on,(video paused, other windows open in the background, etc) so when I pressed the power button to turn it back on it was frozen. Took about 2 minutes to get it unfrozen.Had to hold down the power button to turn it completely off, waited a few seconds then pressed Power to turn it back on. It finished it's update then was good to go. Haven't had any other issues so far, had it about 2 months now. Pretty decent laptop. I'd buy again if I needed to.

Mind-bogglingly slow machine

I bought two of these and BOTH of them got stuck on a black 'just a moment...' screen for over an hour. They heated up to an alarming temperature and I finally gave up on them after finally getting the Microsoft setup process to appear, it was stuck at the MS account login screen for another thirty minutes. I refuse to settle for such poor performance before even loading any apps or documents. I will be returning this and I would not recommend this device to anyone who actually wants to use their laptop. Just to make sure I wasn't crazy, I pulled out my old Asus (2017) and was able to completely restore it to factory settings and login to my MS account before the 'just a moment...' screen passed on the 2022 model! That is ridiculous as this machine's specs are better on paper (newer processor, 4 additional gigs of RAM and an SSD instead of HDD). It seemed like plenty to just get the machine setup, but I guess not. Do not waste you time trying to fight with this machine. It would be better spent buying LITERALLY any other computer.

I've ran every diagnostic test ASUS customer service website says not available for this device. - I noticed problems instantly however due to multiple family illnesses I was unable to return it. It constantly freezes, randomly shuts down, and when it does work decently it's because every background task process that's not 100% necessary has been ended.

We do understand your disappointment and inconvenience if you are experiencing slow system speed or performance issue with the laptop.
This issue is temporary during the initial WINDOWS setup and before installing cumulative WINDOWS Update, regardless what brand name of computer this may be. This may take a longer time depending on the network traffic from the update server and the stability of your high-speed internet service. Also, laptop will do several system reboot, black screen temporarily or restart during the update process. Once initial setup and WINDOWS Update installation completed, system speed or performance will be optimized. Keeping Windows updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, please download the application at the Microsoft Store. For details on how to use "My ASUS", please go to: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041686/. Also, while accessing web applications, please make sure the unit has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system speed and performance.
The preinstalled software are not bloatware, these are available in order to enhance user's computing experience.
