Little Computer that Can!!!

It’s lightning fast and the display is crystal clear. It’s bigger than I expected, but not bulky. If there has to be a downside, the keyboard is not backlit so that’s annoying.

Don't buy!

It has got to be the slowest computer I have ever owned and I've owned the computers since the 1980s. I understand you get what you pay for but this is ridiculous. It's not even worth $50, let alone $500. If you have an hour to waste and wait for an application to load, then buy all means by this computer. If you would like things to load within 5 minutes or so, stay very far away from this PC. I only wish I was smart enough to return this immediately instead, like a dummy. I kept it and now it's my loss. I'm not even going to get into how terrible the sound is lol.

Horrible

There was no viruses on the laptop and I took it to a professional who couldn't find any issues with it. Would not recommend.

Only thing I dislike is that the keyboard letters are a silvery color on a gray key. It's a little difficult to see in less than optimum light. Otherwise, very pleased!

Solved a persistent memory problem

We bought the ASUS Vivobook because it has 12 GB of memory which solved his issues. We've had ASUS PC's before and they have always proven durable.

Save Your Money

By the time you get your screen up, the battery needs charging. The keyboard is silver which makes it very hard to see the keys. Just a bad product. Look for something else!!!!!!

Machine Best For Business

I purchased it to use for my business and i am well pleased with the screen size and overall performance. The only thing I wish is for the keys to light up. Other than that this machine is a BestBuy.

Poor colling slows machine to a crawl ...

Cooling is a definite low point of the product. The systems slows down if you dont have proper ventilation. You need to raise it off the desk to get proper cooling. In addition, I've placed a fan behind it to get it cooled properly. If cooled properly machine is great!

Absolute Junk

Updating is a minimum of 45 mins. My HP that is 8g ram with Ry 3 takes less than 10 seconds to start and Updating is in 3-5 mins. This is a paper weight.

Obviously, the laptop will run and update faster than your older PC. To resolve the issue, please check if the laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly. Another possible cause is lots of cummulative updates are being downloaded and installed since Windows releases updates periodically.
