    I reakly like the 17" screen - easier to see/read and good quality. Also, they keys are large enough for ease of use. Only negative would be that keys are not back lit, but am able to make it work.

    Get an SSD

    Because of the 1 TB HDD, it's pretty slow on startup and shutdown. Also have noticed that the HDD seems to be generating a lot of heat. I have already installed a SSD and made it the boot drive, so if/when the HDD goes out, it won't be an issue.

    I love Windows 11. The only problem is the speed. It'll improve later, but for now, it goes slightly slow when starting up. Would recommend, though.

    This computer is very slow. It's slow to start. Very slow on loading pages. It's slow overall. It just doesn't perform as I thought it would. You can't barely see the letters on the keyboard.

    Bargain laptop, bargain price.

    This is an average laptop. Bargain price with bargain priced performance. It takes longer to boot than my old Win 8.1 laptop but, once it does finally boot, performance is okay. I intend to put an SSD into it so that will probably fix that issue.

    The keyboard is very hard to read with the silver keys. You would definitely need to purchase and external keyboard,

    I bought this online without actually going to the store to check it out in person. Took forever to do the first update and it was always laggy. Apps and webpages didn’t load very fast. This last updated put it in a bootup loop and wont go past the ASUS screen. Purchased a Dell Inspiron 15 3000 to replace it. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!! The Dell is super fast and im extremely happy with it.AVOID THIS LAPTOP

      We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience if you are experiencing slow system speed or performance issue with the laptop.





      This issue is temporary during the initial WINDOWS setup and before installing cumulative WINDOWS Update, regardless what brand name of computer this may be. This may take a longer time depending on the network traffic from the update server and the stability of your high-speed internet service. Also, laptop will do several system reboot, black screen temporarily or restart during the update process. Once initial setup and WINDOWS Update installation completed, system speed or performance will be optimized. Keeping Windows updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, please download the application at the Microsoft Store. For details on how to use "My ASUS", please go to: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041686/. While accessing web applications, please make sure the unit has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system speed and performance. Also, clearing internet cache or browsing history will improve system performance.

    Needed a Windows laptop for a new job and purchased it in a hurry! The new job requires ZOOM meetings. Unfortunately, the camera picture quality is deficient. If, if had known, I would have taken the time to purchase a computer with a better camera!

    I think for the price is a good value but the key board is impossible to read they should have made black keys, I have to look for keyboard stickers or keyboard cover so I can high light the keys, an intern must of have made the choice for the keyboard color, you have to tilt the laptop to see the keyboards or shine alot of light on them , super hard to read, next time make the keys black.

    Could Be a Great Laptop - A Major Design Flaw

    Good specs and runs fast and well. But one major design flaw for this laptop: the letters are 95% impossible to read on the keys. Better see this in person before buying.

    I had this and returned it. The keyboard isn’t readable, not backlit, speed is slower than my 8 year laptop. DON’T buy this piece of junk!

    I loved the screen size , just everything about the laptop except the battery life. It seemed to die out after a good 6 hours of use. I returned 1 and had the same trouble. Oh well
