    I purchased this laptop because it was cheap. I did not read the review prior on buying this item. This laptop is so slow. It seems like we went back to year 2010 where laptops were too slow. Save your money or buy a different laptop but not this one.

      We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience if you are experiencing slow system speed or performance issue with the laptop.





      This issue is temporary during the initial WINDOWS setup and before installing cumulative WINDOWS Update, regardless what brand name of computer this may be. This may take a longer time depending on the network traffic from the update server and the stability of your high-speed internet service. Also, laptop will do several system reboot, black screen temporarily or restart during the update process. Once initial setup and WINDOWS Update installation completed, system speed or performance will be optimized. Keeping Windows updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, please download the application at the Microsoft Store. For details on how to use "My ASUS", please go to: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041686/. While accessing web applications, please make sure the unit has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system speed and performance.

    Utterly useless to me. When I read "free upgrade to Windows 11 when available," I took this to mean it shipped with Windows 10. Mistake #1. It was 11. 11 wouldn't install Adobe Creative suite because it didn't come from the Microsoft App store. I tried to install Windows 10. It crashed partway through, then wouldn't restore 11. I drove to the local store, thinking they closed at 8pm. Got there at 7:04pm to find four associates standing outside smoking because the store closed 4 minutes ago. I told them my dilemma. They told me they reopened at 11a the next morning which was no help to me at all. Discouraged and disgusted, i gave them the computer and drove home.

    This is one of the nicest laptops I have purchased or worked on. The screen is a great size, and the keyboard is more comfortable than others with a smaller screen. It's fast and efficient for my uses. I'm very happy with my purchase.

    The ASUS Vivobook laptop is amazing in nearly every way, its fast, has a quick startup time, its aesthetically nice. Its size is great and its comfortable to hold. The only downside is that the charger is a bit shorter than I'd prefer but it's really not that big of a deal.

    I have never experienced a laptop that operates this slowly. Brand new, out of the box it was so insanely slow I would deem it to be unworkable. Awful, terrible. I should have trusted my instincts and gone with literally any other brand.

    It's taking me some time to transition from Imac to microsoft, but the computer itself was a real bargain and I am getting more and more comfortable with it. I have long had a preference for Works programs, and now I have them again with this computer.

    Do now buy. You can't even read the keys. I made the mistake and bought this, and didn't open for a couple of weeks. Just went to set it up and realized you could barely see the keys (white on silver), Missed return period. Only 3 week return window.

    HUGE MISTAKE-SLOWWWW

    Truly hate this computer. Because I lent to a friend, i didn't use until return window closed. 1-cannot see keys, what were they thinking. 2-incredibly slow, painfully slow, irritating. 3-seems as if keys get stuck. Type and nothing, 10 seconds later a letter appears. At first thought it was me. But no, its the computer. Very disappointed and surprised BB carries such junk. Im elderly, on a budget and only need this to check emails, save family photos, and work budget. I dont do social media or gaming so no reason it should be so slow. Very frustrated DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Spend another $1 or 2 hundred. READ REVIEWS, usuallythe negative ones too. Normally I do, why I didn't this time I don't know. All I can say is HUGE MISTAKE.

    One of my favorite devices so far - perfect for staying organized and maintaining my work schedule. Also has a great battery life; must have for a business & tech savvy on the go. Sturdy construction and the screen resolution is amazing.
