Do not buy

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was a ok laptop but the last update made it completely unusable the screen froze up and was bad. Swapped it out for another one and same thing. Thank you to the Best Buy employee though who told us not to try again and that was the 3rd one they returned that day. Helped us pick out a way better one at a cheaper price.

Starts out great, goes downhill fast

It started out as a really nice computer, but in the last couple months it has gone down hill quick. Programs are quick to freeze and not respond. It takes a few minutes to start the computer, and quite a while for it to shut down. I have not installed many programs on this computer, I just use it to run a 3d printer and a vinyl cutter.

If Windows is current, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. While accessing web applications, please check that the laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system speed and performance.
