bought this laptop as an open box deal. Has good speed and price was good, however its runs very hot. Being in the IT field for many years i opened up the case and found a major design flaw. The copper cooling rods that take heat from the processor are against the bottom cover inside so it cant get enough air around it. only solution is a laptop cooler or make a few holes in the bottom cover. so i chose the first one and problem solved. We bought this computer to use for work. Basic Excel, Word, and using the ERP through the cloud. In 2.5 years, the camera has failed 3 times, the microphone failed twice, the hard drive has had to be flashed and Windows reinstalled 3 times going on its 4th. This is a horrible computer. I have had other brands and never had this issue. Thankfully I paid for the extended warranty, but would rather have had a computer that worked. It's been in service for probably 3 months since we bought it.

The keyboard is extremely difficult to tell which letter or symbol is on the keyboard unless you are in bright light or wear a headlamp to illuminate it.

At first it was great but over time has given issues with loading and booting up causing me to seek a professional to repair the it issues. Digital display stopped working needing a new graphics card

My wife is very happy with this laptop, once we got Windows 11 set up. Nice big screen size and still not too heavy for her to carry around. Has plenty of power, space and memory. Would buy again.

Got this as a gift for a friend to be able to do music production with since we live in different states and it runs so slow that i basically isnt possible to do anything outside of very basic browsing the internet. No maintenance has helped this issue. Would not reccomend buying.

Battery life could be much better. Requires frequent recharging.

Out of the box windows 10 s more is horrible. The mechanical hard drive is slow and I'm going to tell you all what I did. I added 16 gb of ram to make it a computer with 20gb of ram this was a huge performance boost. Another necessary upgrade I think was the M.2 Samsung 1tb hard drive I installed with windows 11 pro. These upgrades made this computer awesome! Only thing I hate about the design and engineering is there's only 1 ram upgrade slot the other ram is physically built into the system board.

Out of the box slow too slow . i just add m2 ssd and i have a faster laptop , and whoever got the idea to have keys almost same colors as the letter crazy cant see good the letters since have same colors as the keys

This laptop should simply not be sold. It is the slowest of them all. The only way I can use this is to start it 30min before actually needing it, or connect to a remote desktop.

This is a 1ghz Quad Core processor. This a 4ghz computer...it's slow. Sadly, nowhere in the Best Buy Site for laptops, do they mention this very important spec of the computer(s). It boots up slow, opens pages slow, engine searches slow, etc. If you are impatient or need things done in a hurry, this laptop will frustrate you. As far as the GPU, it doesn't have one...it uses the motherboard, therefore, you can't even have 1080p graphics. This is a very budget budget laptop, and even overpriced for the quality of hardware it possesses.

Very good laptop at a very good price. Computer has a few minor quirks that I am adjusting to; but overall, it’s very good.

My Dad purchased this laptop less than three months ago, it takes longer to boot up than my old Apple iie from 1985! Geek squad ran a diagnostic and says everything looks good?! They recommend swapping out the hard drive..... We haven't loaded anything on this machine and it freezes, he can't even use it to play solitaire!! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!

Good computer for the $ if you get it on sale. Video card is lacking some features but overall it does the job. Some of that could be operator error. Would be great for a student.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This has been the absolute worst laptop I have EVER worked with. It runs extremely slow. It freezes very frequently. At times it has taken 20 minutes to simply load a page, which resulted in me turning in an assignment late. I would not recommend this to anyone. My 10 year old laptop runs faster than this does. Terrible product. Do not waste your money.

So far good, wish sound was better but other than that works well. I am using an auxiliary blue tooth speaker with it.

Incredibly slow. Takes ages to start and run windows . right out of the box the cpu has had issues being slow and running. ive done everything in my power to try and fix this besides taking it apart and replacing things one by one to see what the actual problem is. the laptop freezes takes around 5-10 minutes to boot freezes when opening just about any program. My 12 year old hp lap to that only has 4 gigs of ram works better than this.

This computer is still running just as amazing as is did when i first purchased it.

Out of box experience is a bit lacking in performance but after updates were applied it seemed to pick up speed. Was expecting more from a recent processor and 12G of RAM. Also found the feel of the case to be a bit cheap and plastic'y. May consider downgrading to windows 10 or even upgrading the SSD to try to get better performance.
