The monitor colors are extremely washed out and not easy to see. And unless sitting at the perfect angle, it is not possible to read the keys -- they are also not backlit either -- all things you cannot tell on Best Buy's website. The heavier weight (even given its size) and awkward shape are not impressive either compared to others. I tried to get use to it and in the process missed the 15 day window to return. Do not make this same mistake -- I do not recommend this computer at all.

I like that it is fast, and I appreciate the big screen (this laptop might be too big of you prefer something small and light). There are two things I didn't like: the signs on the keyboard are really hard to see (I don't mind much, because I use an external ergonomic keyboard, but this could be really frustrating), and the camera isn't great (but it will work, though). For the price, it's a fair choice.

In order to improve the color contrast between the letters and the keys, we recommend working in a place where there is ambient light. Or, consider using a keyboard cover or skin. The web camera has a HD resolution. While using it online, please verify internet service is stable since poor internet connection will affect the video quality.

Super fast, fit the bill for 4k streaming, some mid lvl gaming, and a good deal of daily adobe illustrator and indesign use. Excited to do even more. Asus never disappoints... solid build, nice keyboard and the screen is awesome.
