highly functional, fast, and easy on the eyes. The ASUS Zenbook Flip 2-in-1 covers many items common among laptop buying checklists: processor, memory, battery. The size and weight are above "average" for a laptop - this is my preference. The display is large enough to use while sitting at a desk but also fits comfortably while sitting on the couch. The Flip component turns the laptop into a tablet. Versus an iPad, the Zenbook will admittedly be clunky; however, I find the Flip optionality useful, and space saving, while I work from home and often use larger monitors for work.

Works as expected. Purchased for church administrative staff member who prefers Mac, but the church is MS. Touch screen and flip make it particularly useful when moving around the church, and screen size small enough to carry and take home, but big enough to use without a monitor. It is more than capable of making powerpoint slides and other business-type graphics but is definitely not a gaming laptop.

This is the laptop with the best screen I've ever had! I'm a bit concerned about burn in, but it's too early to tell if that will be a problem. The laptop is very quiet and doesn't run hot, and the intel 12th gen performance is great! The only downside I find with this laptop is the battery life, as it's not as great as i thought it would be.

I thought that the OLED display would quickly deplete my battery. Performing my work as an educator, this notebook will run on battery for a good ten hours or more. Playing video or video conferencing can be done over an extended period of time. Whether awakening from sleep or hibernation, wakeup time is quite fast. Iike it

TL;DR - Outside of a few minor things, this laptop is near-perfect. If you're looking for an all-around computer that can handle any productivity task you throw at it, as well as some moderate gaming and multimedia editing, you'll be happy with this machine. BUILD QUALITY While I'm not that much a fan of the blue exterior (I prefer gray or black), it's subtle enough for me to look past. The laptop is sturdy, with no bending or flexing on the keyboard deck, screen, or when closed up. The bezels are small and I'm actually able to get this laptop into an old 14" case I had laying around. It's a bit heavy, but that's to be expected with a machine this size. DISPLAY The screen is the shining star of this laptop. OLED, 2.5k resolution, and plenty bright - everything I've done on this laptop has looked beautiful. It's also a touch display, but with something this large and heavy, I don't really see any reason you'd use it as a "tablet", but it's a nice added feature I suppose. PERFORMANCE It's a 12th gen i7 chip - it's fast. Really, really, really fast. It scored a perfect 240 on the Speedometer 2.0 test and over 85,000 on Octane 2.0. I was able to render a 5 minute 1080p video in Adobe Media Encoder in 20 seconds. I've had upwards of 30 Chrome tabs open and not felt a single hiccup. The 16GB of RAM plays a part in that as well. There is no discrete GPU on board, but the integrated Xe graphics have handled all the games I've tried on medium settings (Dragon Age Inquisition, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Stardew Valley, and Civilization 6). I haven't managed to slow it down yet. INPUT METHODS Not much to say other than "solid". The keyboard has a decent amount of travel, the keys are spaced properly, and the addition of the number pad is a nice bonus. The trackpad is nice and wide, very smooth, and hasn't built up any oils over my week's worth of usage so far. SPEAKERS Here's the first downside...the speakers are decidedly below-average. They seem to be tuned for spoken word, as that sounds great. It's a different story with any sort of music though...no bass, and heavy distortion if you take the volume over 50%. For a productivity-first laptop it's fine, but you'll want to have your headphones nearby if you want to spend any time listening to music or playing games. FINGERPRINTS... Another downside is the finish ASUS decided to use for this laptop is a fingerprint magnet. Keep a microfiber cloth handy if you like your laptop to look clean...just the action of opening the lid leaves fingerprints all over, and the keyboard deck on either side of the trackpad is smudged up like crazy after even 30 seconds of typing. PORTS The port selection is fantastic - 2 Thunderbolts, headphone jack, HDMI, USB-A, and Micro SD, in addition to the included barrel plug charging port. There is a downside though...both the charging port and the Thunderbolt ports are on the right side of the device. As someone who uses a bluetooth mouse with my laptops, these have proven to get in the way. The charging plug at least has a 90 degree angle so it's not *that* obtrusive, but having the Thunderbolt ports on the right is downright annoying. If I have my external SSD plugged in, I either need to move the mouse way off to the side, or just ignore it completely and use the trackpad. IN SUMMARY I really do enjoy using this laptop. The fingerprints, "meh" speakers, and location of the Thunderbolt ports are slightly annoying, but not nearly enough to outweigh the beautiful screen and incredible performance. Unless you're looking for a machine to play games at the highest settings and resolutions or you routinely edit 4k video, you can't do much better than this Zenbook.
