Bought this phone only because it's dual sim. However, it is not as large as I wanted or needed. Best Buy salespeople are only there for you for a few first minutes when trying to convince you to buy buy buy. After that you are really on your own. Hope that very soon there'll be another electronics giant, so that we don't have to go to Nest Buy anymore.

At first it was fun exploring and trying to learn this new phone. But now I'm regretting this purchase. Phone crashes alot and freezes If you have just two apps running. I constantly clean the rAm but keeps on doing it. I wouldn't complain if it was cheaper. Not that great battery life...(but what phones now a days)

Good temp replacement phone not long term.........

I regretted buying this phone. I didn't start using this phone when I bought it until couple of weeks later. By then it's too late to return back to Bestbuy. My carrier is T-Mobile and problem with this phone is 90% of the time when people call me, it won't ring but goes straight the voicemail. I call ASUS customer service and they are not helpful. They troubleshoot but couldn't fix the issue and they are not willing to replace the product.

This is my 3rd Asus phone and after almost 1 year of use (at time of this writing) this is my take: For starters the device has an excellent build quality and looks amazing. I love the glass back in midnight black, which is more of a really dark blue; still super nice color nonetheless. The ZenEar earbuds that come with it are also super awesome. The bass hits deep and vocals really pop, best earbuds I've ever used. The phone has an amazing camera, the wide angle has a noticable difference in quality compared to the regular sensor but still good. The front facing flash doesn't botch your skin tone or anything and is nice natural looking light. 4k video recording is great and records at 30fps. It can also record in 60 fps but quality drops to FHD, either way it still looks really good and unless you're viewing the video on a 4k capable screen, then it won't make a difference. Has other quality modes for both cameras while using for pictures or videos, though I don't know why you would want anything below HD, but maybe there's a use and I'm not aware of it. Also includes a "super resolution" mode which combines multiple shots to create one 64MP shot which looks absolutely incredible. The screen quality is great, especially for an LCD screen. It is a little difficult to read under direct sunlight but a little bit of shade will give optimal viewing capability. Display is great otherwise, and gets very dark on minimum brightness but I do wish it could go darker. I love how the bezels are so thin as well. It truly is mostly screen. It has definitely performed above and beyond how I thought it would. Initially performance was buggy but I soon found out it was in battery saver by default, as soon as I switched it to normal mode it made a huge impact and performs very well. Works even better in performance mode at the compromise of the battery draining quicker. Speaking of the battery, it easily lasts me the entire day on moderate to heavy usage while in normal mode. The fingerprint scanner is quick and easily accessible and in a natural position, I can even reach it without having to stretch my finger and I have small hands. Also includes face unlock, it is extremely quick but I don't use it. The built in blue light filter is a nice touch and really helps while using in the dark. The built in Audio Wizard is also really nice and actually works. Not a huge fan of the ZenUI but I got used to it over time. It has NFC which I use on a regular. Also has hotspot capabilities and a very useful data saver tool, which really works. I've noticed the difference with it on and off. Also has a "report location" button in the toolbar in case of an emergency. Thankfully I haven't had to use it. Very quick and very smooth. The biggest thing that I am really upset with is that it is advertised as having Android OS 8.0 Oreo out if the box. But it really has Android 7.1.1, Asus says they now plan on skipping 8 and going straight to 9. But I've seen nothing yet. I've had no problems with it so far. And it looks like it will stay that way.

Back of phone broke while in my pocket within 2 hours of purchase and Best buy would not exchange same dsy

no warranty in Brazil for Asus and difficulty solving the problem of power button failure

This phone constantly freezes and power cycles itself dont buy it .

I just have couple weeks with this device but so far I'm impressed. The speed is great, also the camera, space and the quality of the product is good. For the money I think is a great product.

I love the phone but it does not get lte service on cricket wireless. It only gets 4g but since cricket is throttled at 8 mbps download it doesn't really matter. The speed seems like lte speed but only shows 4G coverage. Knocked off 1 star for the lack of lte on my service.

The 1 thing I'm not happy about is that I ordered it based on it being an Oreo 8 operating phone then to my surprise I was not it's an Android 7.1.1 now still 2 months later I still have not received no Oreo 8 updates and im mad because I feel I got punked I bought the phone because of the Oreo ..hello where is and when is this update happening cause this is ridiculous!

Overall this phone is great. While it does not come with the Oreo operating system as stated in the specs (has since been updated.) It runs well but the battery life is something to be desired. On a normal use day I have to charge it at least one of not more.

Ive been using it for about a week now. Nice looking phone and wide angle camera both selfie and main cameras. I like the size and the design its not too heavy for a 6 inch cellphone and its thin.
