This is exactly what I needed for work, it does what it's supposed to do and it does it pretty well. The watch has a premium look and I have big hands so it doesn't look out of place on my wrist. At half the price of other Smart Watches, it's only missing an ambient light sensor and a heart rate monitor, so for me this was a no brainer as I don't need any of those since I'm always at the office and can set it to a specific brightness and the crown button allows me to max it when needed. Overall, best watch at this pricepoint, I purchased several straps for it and changing them is easy so it's definitely a good value.

This Zenwatch2 is awesome. Especially for the money. I immediately put a stainless steel band on it, which looks great. Battery life is good, display is vibrant, fit is comfortable and sizing is nice for a man's wrist. I had the Sony smartwatch 3 before this so there was nothing new with Android wear for me , but I can happily report that this watch performs just as well for half the price. There is no downside to this watch. Comes with a ton of faces. Black faces look the best because they do not show the large bezels. Great watch at an amazing price!

    Great Entry-level Smart Watch

ASUS ZenWatch 2 is a great entry-level smart watch. It has all the bells and whistles. The only thing you can't do, that I know of, is make a phone call with it. But I have to say, I've been wearing/using it for 3.5 weeks now and I have zero complaints. I just ordered some new bands to wear with it because it can be used for sport, casual/everyday, and dress. Just change the band and you're all set. I find myself using it more and more instead of picking up my phone unless I can't do what I need with the watch. You will not regret this purchase. It goes great with the ASUS ZenFone 2, as well.

Great battery life (about a day) colors are awesome. It studders just a bit one in a while when it first wakes up, but barely noticeable. Supports android wear and tons of apps not listed by either the watch or android.

I probably would have gave this watch 4 stars if it was a $300 watch. But considering its looks, comfort, and reliability for a hundred fifty bucks, I was forced to give it 5 stars. It stays connected with my Nexus 6P very well although not as great a distance as some reviews state. When I first connected the watch it didn't theme to utilize many features, but I swear the watch began to learn and within 24 hours it had added features and apps via my phone. I'm very happy with this purchase

Have owned the Zenwatch 2 for 30 hours as of the time of this review. First, let me state I am an early adopter of the Android Wear platform. I owned the first LG watch. I only kept that watch for about a week. My impressions were that Android Wear was not ready for "prime time". I switched to the Pebble Steel. The Pebble Steel had fantastic battery life (about a week). I'm almost at 2 days of usage on my initial charge and am down to 11% charge. While it's not as good as the Pebble, the trade off in appearance and features is well worth the lesser capacity. The general appearance on my wrist is much less "geeky" than the Moto360. Yes, it does have a larger bezel than I would prefer, but after a few hours, I was completely used to it. The only small complaint is the charging cable. While I like the magnet connection, it is not a terribly strong hold. If you bump the watch or cable, it can easily become detached. Not a problem, but you just need to be aware. The value for the price is incredible. The construction is both solid and attractive. Yes, it does not have a heart monitor, but I could truly care less. The pedometer, as with all wearables, is not 100% accurate, but it's good enough to judge my goal for each day If you are thinking of buying one of the more expensive watches, I urge you to stop in to Best Buy and compare first

I did extensive research on smartwatches before deciding on one. After watching and reading several comparison and review pieces I couldn't think on any other device but this one. I've had it for over a week now and can only say it has been a wonderful experience. This watch has identical inner specs to all the other second gen Androidwear watches out there. The price is hard to pass up, and the customization is excellent. If you are on the edge on trying a smartwatch, please consider the zenwatch 2 as your starter. Also to note, the zenwatch 2 is one of the few smartwatches that has an included speaker which will be integrated into future versions of Android wear, making it a future proof device, putting it ahead of many contenders. The only negative I can think of is the bezels, as yes they are larger than you might expect, but they are not an eye sore as Asus was kind enough to add a stylish brushed aluminum look to the bezels, which make the watch look quite stylish. Thank you Asus for such a wonderful experience!

This works flawlessly with my Galaxy S5. As far as smartwatches. This is the best deal going. I'm sorry. I don't need the pulse reader. That is overkill and wht purpose does it serve. Those have been found to be inaccurate - from any maker. Take your pulse when you need to. I wasn't expecting to get so many compliments. I get them all the time. Wow - what is that? Wow- that's nice looking! What is that? i tell them just a few things it can do. My phone stays in my pocket mostly now unless I have to answer a call. If i want to answer a text I can do it right from the watch. If i want to navigate somewhere I can do it right from the watch. Email? I can read incoming emails and respond later. Facebook. I can see or not see notifications. Watch faces. So many to choose from 100's if not thousands....... Fantastic value. After a full day from 7am to 10:30pm it has 55 to 65% battery left. If I turned it off at night I could get 2 days comfortably. otherwise I slap on the charger most nights.... Don't hesitate. It's a great piece.

I purchased this as my first smartwatch purchase. First the plus side.... 1. Attractive design, I don't mind the bezel size, though some may find it bothersom. 2. Fairly bright and crisp screen, though brightness does have to be turned up in bright sunlight which shortens battery life. 3. The band feels very secure. 4. Band is easily changeable. On the wrist it doesn't seem as thick as it does off the wrist. 5. Changing is very quick and easy. 6. Blutooth pairing is very easy, and range is good. 7. Tons of watch faces available through google, and asus. 8. Price is great compared with similar watches. Now the bad.... 1. Band is stiff and uncomfortable for a while due to cheap leather used. 2. No heart rate, gps, or Sim card. 3. I wish the screen was a bit larger, even if it had to be thicker. 4. Software can have glitches at times, but this is from android, not asus. 5. It doesn't always go put of sleep mode when you look at the watch. I do find this mist annoying.

One of the Most amazing Product which I have used, must have for smart watch lovers specially the one with Android phones, my main concern was battery as I read in some of the reviews , but after using it for 24hrs of which about 9 hrs on my wrist and the rest on the table in my room , it was connected to my phone(SG S5) the whole 24hrs though, it still had more than 50% battery life.Simple and amazing to use brings the awesomeness of Google to your wrist, great value for your money and once you get used to it you will like this watch even more, last but not the least do get the Geek squad protection plan peace of mind for two years for a small price.

Love the fact that this has a speaker and I can answer a call when the phone is in my pocket. The battery last easily all day where my Moto360 barely made it. The screen is nice and I was glad to get back to a rectangle device, I feel the scrolling is much easier and accurate vs the round screens. This watch is responsive and IMO underrated for the price. It does lack the heartrate, but honestly I never really used that on the Moto 360. I use the step counter though, and also happy to see I can get this wet without the fear of ruining it. I really like the leather band and clasp. It feels and looks like a classy band. It also feels smaller and not as huge as the LG and Huawei watch's and even my Moto 360. For half the price you get the same processor, great battery, speaker etc. I also used to have the Galaxy Gear 1 with a camera and speaker. The battery lasted for days and when I upgraded to the Moto 360 I missed the speaker and long lasting battery. It was so bad that I would find that I wouldn't even use or look at the watch for days on the Moto. Glad to say that that is not the case with the ASUS. I use it daily and feel this is how a watch should be and helps keep me organized.

One of the best product by ASUS. I am writing this review after using zenwatch for 2 month. I am using zenwatch with iphone and notification and other functionality is working good. Since ios having a lot of restriction, So you will not able to use many build in functionality like standalone wifi feature. But the same is working good with Andriod. Overall - 5 star Screen - 4.5 star Leather Belt - 5 star Battery - Approx 2 days charging time - 1.5 hour on its price point , this is an awesome product.

I have used this watch for about 3 weeks and my overall impression is that it is a very good watch but not quite perfect. The good points are very good battery life, usually have at least 50% at the end of the day. Good screen, pretty easy to read. Overall performance seems good. It seems plenty fast. Some minor negatives is I find this watch a bit large on my wrist. I have the 49mm size. I do like the leather band though. Pretty comfortable to wear. So far the speaker has not been enabled yet so I am unable to use my watch as phone yet. I think the price is very good bargain at $150. This is half of the price of many other smart watches. So overall very good watch but I am not ready to call it excellent at this time. I do recommend at the $150 price point.

It was shipped on Monday and I received it Tuesday. The watch is well worth the price. It could be priced higher along with the gear 2 and others. There are some reviews saying that it disconnects from phone alot but I haven't had that problem at all. I charged it all night and took it off of charge at 9:00 am. It is 7:02 pm and I am at 86% full battery. This will work for probably 2 days on one charge. I plan on getting wife one for 23rd anniversary.

The price point is by far best on the market for the Asus Zenwatch 2. It's almost identical specs as the first gen but with better battery life. Looks very nice, I get compliments on it everyday. Still waiting for their metal band to come out as Asus makes the easy clasp to swap out bands. I highly recommend this watch to anyone, especially if you're on the fence. This is a great one to start out with, without spending a ton of money.

When I decided to get an Android watch, I was skeptical about the value it would offer. But since I was in the market for a new watch anyway, I did a little research and found that this latest-generation watch had lots of great features (Wi-Fi, GPS, hidden speaker!) without the outrageous price tag. Having purchased it, it's great. The screen is lower-resolution, which isn't a problem except with a couple third-party watch faces, and there's no heartrate monitor. But it has a brilliant, sensitive screen and with the latest Android Wear 1.4 update based on Android 6.0, it even has a speaker so you can play music or take calls right from the watch. In the end, it's a great watch and it keeps you from pulling out your phone constantly. I've found this increases my productivity because even when my phone is charging across the room, when I hear a notification I can just glance at my watch and then keep working.
