After trying the Pebble, Striiv, and Samsung watch, I finally settled on the ZenWatch. I love that it's got all the functionality I'm looking for in a smart watch with the look and feel of a regular watch. The ability to change the watchband is huge for me since I have tiny wrists (the Samsung Gear is wider than my wrist by almost half an inch).
The heart rate monitor is definitely off sync (172 bpm resting...not so much), and the pedometer could use a little fine tuning, but the other available apps (messages, maps, and a flashlight!) are awesome.
I think the biggest perk is when people see me looking at it and they ask if it's an iWatch. I get to watch their eyes light up as tell them no and give them the rundown of what it does for Android. ^_^

If your looking for a beautiful looking watch then look no further. The leather feels great, and actually smells like real leather. The stainless steel with rose gold trim looks beautiful. The hear rate sensor can be a bit gimmicky but works for the most part. And if you played around with any other Android wear it will feel like home.

As my name indicates, I love my gadgets, and have too many in my electronic toy box. This Asus smartwatch is elegant, looks "non-nerdy" on the wrist, has been stable/reliable, and the screen is very readable even outdoors. I have other Android Wear watches as well. This Asus watch is my favorite. I find the screen to be very sharp, the watch is very comfortable to wear all day, battery lasts all day for my needs, and the connection with my Android phone has been rock solid.
I use the watch daily to track the actual arrival times of the plethora of.buses I use. There is no app available yet for tracking the bus arrival times; however, the WIB (Wear Internet Browser) does a fantastic job of.tracking the arrival times, better than many transit tracking apps I have used on the phone.
IMO, The Asus ZEN smartwatch is the best of the initial Android Wear watches. I prefer it (YMMV) to the 360 which I also have.

I really like both the look and the feel of this watch. If it had a physical button, I would have rated it 5 star. Battery life is very acceptable (after completing all updates). After using it from 6 am to 11 pm, I usually have about 30% battery. I also have a LG R watch, and while I like it also, the Asus has a nicer look, and cost MUCH less!

I've had the watch for a couple of months and now really enjoy it. The watch band is a little uncomfortable as the metal clasp on the inside will irritate your wrist a bit but it isn't too bad and it is easy to swap out for another strap. I love everything else about the watch.

i have had this watch for a little over a month and love the design, there is no freeze ups like the moto 360 and the battery life gets my by 2 days with minimal usage. i love the design simple and fits comfy on my wrist. other bands feel clunky and oversized.

Whether I'm talking about the customer service (which always rocks) or the product, simply awesome! I did my research before buying this watch as it was between this one and the Moto 360. Glad I went with this one. Battery life is great. I like a steel band and bought a $20 special whereas I would have paid close to $100 more for the steel brand for the moto360....

Bought item for wife, she wanted a smartwatch but didn't like my G Watch since it was too square. Took a risk and she loves the watch. A plus is that the band uses quick release spring bars, making it easy to swap out bands based on her mood.

This android smart watch looks really good and has some really nice features. I like how I can connect my iPhone 6 and ZenFone 2 to it and receive notifications. I wish the fitness apps were better but I've recently started using the built in jawbone up app and it's ok for basic movement.

I stopped using watches for several years and I decided to go with the Asus Zenwatch. It's a nuice looking watch and every now and then I get compliments about it.
Many applications available for Android Wear and you can even customize the watch face.

I really like the Zen watch. It's has great battery life and nice features with the Zen watch app. Like find my phone and unlock my phone(like trusted device). My only complaint is they Asus has not came out with other watch bands. But with With being 22mm there are a lot of options.

It's a very good smart watch, but for fitness it's not that great. The heart rate sensor doesn't seem to work that well. Overall, I'm very pleased.

This is a cool watch and it does what it says, but don't buy it unless your phone is in the approved devices.

I am a first time user of the Wear technology. That being said, I like it. It can be a little glitchy but overall it serves the purpose. In my case, I wanted to reduce the amount of time I had to look at my cell for notifications. Also the advantage of managing the music from it is pretty neat. The watch itself is very elegant. Feels good on the wrist. Asus should've use a little more of that real estate for the screen but this is their first pitch at the smatwatch market. Overall is great. The only thing I hate is that people automatically think is the Apple watch. That irks me. LoL

Now I know what people are going to say the moto360 is the best choice because of its round face..but I have had all of the must spoken about smart watches and the Zen it the best I have seen to date...apple watch needs to pay attention. ..lol

I received my watch as gift but had been considering it since I heard that Asus was coming out with a smart watch. For a 1.0 product, this is great and exceeds my expectations. I was worried it would be too large, but it is just comfortable and the strap is very easy to use and comfortable too. The battery life is great. Even after a day of very active use (from 7am - 10pm), I still have between 40% - 50% battery and that is with the screen setting to the lowest dim and always on.
I like that I can use apps (I use Watchmaker) to customize the watch face too, and make it my own. My kids like seeing my creations.
The watch looks professional and not like a toy.

I get lots of attention with my new Asus Zen watch. It's stylish and you can make the battery last for two days if you turn it off at night and use it for text and email notifications. I'm pleased.
