Simple, easy to setup and use. Great product. I recommend to anyone who just wants a answering machine.

I needed an answering machine that was easy to use, and that I could use with an existing phone. The buttons are simple. The system takes you through set up with verbal instructions, which is great. We kept the machine provided voice for the outgoing message, which we like for security reasons. I definitely recommend this for anyone with limited technology knowledge.

Very easy to operate. I got this for my mother-in-law to attach to her landline. The volume works well for her. She has hearing problems.

Set up was mostly trouble free. The instructions indicated that the machine didn't have to have a phone connected to it in order to work. I found this to be untrue. A phone connection was necessary. Programming was easy.

For those who just need a basic answering machine, this is the one you want to get. My Mom needed a new answering maching only not one with a phone attached. I got this one for her. It was an easy set up and is easy to work and understand.

My AT@T 1739 finally gave out, after years of use and abuse mind you, so I got this one and the features are the same but a little bit different configuration. The instructions are straight forward and easy. Took me no time to install. I especially like that it is smaller in size than the previous model. If the first one I bought is any indication of what this one will perform like I am all for it!

Even with cell phones and text messaging its still nice to be able put an answering machine in the landline. There aren't many from which to choose so we took our chances. This one was great. Easy to set up and easy to use. When you don't want to be constantly checking your ringing cellphone its nice to be able to use the landline to take care of business.

Our old one wore out. This one records clearly. We have it with a corded phone. I don’t know how it would attach to a cordless phone. I like the fact that individual messages can be deleted or saved without messing with other messages. You can’t do that with a tape.

Since we don't get cell service where we live, I wanted to have a reliable answering machine. It was easy to set up. We needed to replace our old answering machine which was over 10 years old since it wouldn't record the greeting. It also was an AT&T answering machine. Very happy with this product.
