Going more digital
||Posted .I have yet to use this device, but it appears to be something that can work effectively--as it has just the right number of buttons and switches. I like that it has a "Memory Guard" feature that saves your messages even if there is a power interruption, and that it has the ability to answer after six rings versus the customary four rings.

Satisfied Purchaser
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I was happy to see this digital answering machine available through Best Buy. Not an easy product to find either in-store or online. The price of the product was quite reasonable. With the instructions included, setup was fairly easy. The ability to hear the incoming phone number identified is a plus.

Digital Answering Machine
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. The digital answering machine worked as expected. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Sound quality could be a little better, but for the very low price the sound was adequate. Playing messages back at lower volume helps the sound quality. Messages left from land lines appeared to sound better than messages from cell phones.

Performs the task I wanted, just take a message.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Performs task I want, just take a message. I like the little blinking numbers when there are messages. I like being able to hear who is calling before I answer the phone. I did not want a machine attached to a phone nor one that was programmed to perform tasks I absolutely never want. It is replacing a machine I had for 30 years that was very reliable. I hope this will last beyond its warranty!

No more robo calls
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. Finally had enough of the harassing calls and robo calls. They can talk to the machine. The number of calls has been cut in half after just 3 weeks. Phone only rings 3 or 4 times a day instead of 8 or more times. Hopefully in time I will only get legitamate calls for me. So far they just hang up.

Q: QuestionCan I plug this in a wall phone jack? Considering removing the large phone and replacing it with something that looks more useful and modern while selling this house. Thanks for you suggestions!
Asked by BobJax.
- A:Answer This answering machine plugs into an existing wall phone jack , then a phone line goes from the machine and plugs into a telephone. The phone line that goes from the machine to the telephone is not included, however, there is a built in line connected to the machine that goes into the wall jack.
