I followed the user manual instructions but it did work. Answering machine function is very easy to use. Phone quality is excellent.

I'd give it a 5 star rating but the voice accent and announcement on the answering system is horrible. I usually can't understand the announcement.

The only drawback is the menu is not very intuitive out of the box, it takes some getting used too. I wouldn't recommend for some one who is not tech savvy. Once getting used to its a nice enough phone.
