Good Phone Good Features
We needed to replace our old phones and this system was a good price. I like the talking caller ID and the answering machine records clearly. I like how it shows the number of new messages on the display and the ability to playback from each handset. The Silent feature is nice as my wife works late and sleeps during the day. It can easily be set (the # key turns it off or on and the number keys set the hours) for the number of hours you want to silence the phone so if you forget to reset the system it turns back on by itself, it also automatically turns on the answer machine when this feature is selected. The drawback to the silent mode is that it shuts the ringer and announcement off on ALL the handsets and cannot be selected for only one, you would have to manually turn the ringer off and on for a single unit, this is one reason it only earned 4 stars. This is otherwise a very nice phone system, Intercom function, large lighted display, large lighted keypad, but no lights under the on and off buttons or the multifunction selector button, why bother to light everything but these? the other reason for 4 stars.

Very Useful
I was looking for a coddles phone set, which has more than 3 bases, speaker phone, good battery life, and answering machine. This phone set is easy to set up and display panel is big enough to read well. I really like the quality of speaker mode. It is not too loud or hard to hear. Good quality of sounds and clearly hear other party. I surely recommend this to someone who is looking for a phone set.

Affordable, Ergonomic, and Quality
I bough this for my mother-in-law to replace an old AT&T cordless phone system she had for years (10+). The clarity and range of this phone is superb. I like the walkie-talkie feature. I was able to name the phones based on their location in her house. Using the walkie talkie (two-way radio) feature you can connect the phones and talk to whomever is in the room . You can also connect to all phones. The price was good considering that you get 4 phones. Personally, I don't have a house phone because I rely on my cellphone but I would recommend this to people that have house phones. One thing that my mother-in law mentioned she really liked was that the buttons were much bigger which made it much easier for her to see the numbers and dial the right numbers. Looking at the old phone system and this new one, the new phone has a better ergonomic design.
