I got this phone as a Christmas present for my child. She enjoys it thoroughly. My problem is with best buy. I had the phone activated at my local att store, checked to make sure it worked and then wrapped it up for Christmas. On Christmas morning she opened it and was very excited only to find out that best buy had marked the phone as "unsold" and had att deactivate it as if it was a stolen phone. I had to provide proof of purchase and att had to contact best buy to rectify the problem. I will not be making any other purchases from best buy as this is not the first time I have had issues with them. I would recommend the phone to anyone, but not best buy.

Bought it on sale for my 15 year old son who now has a GF. Texting galore and so far it's holding up okay. He sends 1000's of messages a week and the keyboard has held up like a champ. Great value phone. Horrible camera though! LOL

Bought these for family members who only cared for talk and text when it came to cell phones, and these are great for that. Great battery life, pretty durable and easy to use.

This is what I give my teenage son when I take away his iPhone. Although it’s not the most basic phone out there, for a back-up phone, the price was unbeatable.

I've had both. This particular phone has many problems. The camera is poor and blurry. It is awkward to use it. The buttons are too small. You can't see them in the dark. If someone spell out a phone number with letters, you can't dial it on the phone. The button are not like phone buttons. It is hard to find a cover or accessories.

I'm not smartphone savvy, so this is great for me. I normally like flip phones, but those have been kicking out my numbers (the go phone options are not just cheap in price.) I wish there was some kind of cover, even when locked it manages to dial emergency on it's own. And receiving pictures through text is painful to the eyes. I have to forward those texts to my daughter's phone just to see them. Still adjusting to the blackberry styling, but it does its job.

If you're looking for a phone to call and text with that doesn't require a data plan. This one will do the job. It is compatible with AT&T sim cards (the older, bigger ones) if you're already on AT&T or it works as a monthly pay as you go phone. The keyboard is a little small, though.

This was my second device, the last one being nearly 4 years old. Just need a phone and texting device, and the qwerty keypad works well.

If you're not looking for a smart phone, this one should work for you. The buttons are a little small and hard to press for texting but much better than trying to text on a flip phone.

Was looking for a basic phone. This does the job. voice quality is good. Standby battery life is amazing. Several days in between charges. I use very little. Only for emergencies.

I had to get away from constantly picking up my phone so I could better focus on family, life and work. This little guy did the trick! It's very durable, reliable, and fits the palm of my hand very well. I also love the Blackberry-like keyboard, which helped to weane me from my IPhone. Now my focus and productivity is back!

Got it for my 11-year-old. Full keyboard, a camera for pictures and video. No option for wifi, but that's okay... we don't want him to have full Internet access yet anyway. Does have the ability to data (the web, sending pictures) but that comes with your carrier.

Not smart enough if you need a smart phone and the buttons are really small but for a temp phone it's perfect.
